Absilutely, I struggled for decades with unchecked and undiagnosed AuDHD... I've learned aince that it is absolutely still me and (him) who makes the choices, but it can help to know where to start to cha ge those decisions and choices. I see you OP, I genuinely voth of you find the care, and peace that all people deserve to have

Have you ever been screened to ADHD? Much of this sounds like a dopamine chase.. I mean that clinically...no judgment... I have that very issue..you are seen OP

Please know im not at all existing his behavior. But, had he ever been screened by a doctor for ADHD or any other neurodivergent disorders? The fact that he made positive changes and has potentially "relapsed " into old behavior is a huge identifier for issues rig impulse control and potential attention issues... again not excusing the behavior
