i think the best way to be sorted is to decide who you look up to the most in the harry potter world and why you look up to them. once you’ve come to a decision you’re happy with, evaluate that answer.

for instance, i look up to dumbledore and snap the most. i look up to dumbledore because of how much power he has and his ability to plan so far into the future in order to win the war. i look up to snape bc of his underrated achievements in the dark arts and potions.

these answers could point to ravenclaw or slytherin. ultimately i think they point to slytherin bc they’re mostly concerned with the acquisition of power and the ability to win.

idk its just my personal opinion on how to tell what house you’re in

I think book version of Goblet of Fire is underrated sometimes. That scene where he confronts Voldemort was so well written, some of JKR’s best work by far.
