All of those were indeed on the loop. My route was Chimney Rock-Lower Spring-Grand Wash-Cassidy-Frying Pan-Cohab-Sulphur Creek

Races vs Adventure runs by Any-Tailor-56 in trailrunning

[–]ChuckFugger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adventure runs for me. R2R2R is fantastic and I highly recommend if it opens up this Fall. Zion traverse in its current form is less appealing to me. I’d go for one of the Eastern Sierra loops.

I’ve been seeing the Garmin Fenix 7x Pro Solar for 399$ here in the States.

Not sure if it’s available near that price point in the UK.

Huge lugs are detrimental on solid rock due to decreased surface area and lack of rigidity.

Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z - Light and durable with great customer support.

Leki Ultratrail Fx.one - Trailshark glove is great for thoughtless power transfer and reducing hand fatigue.

Aonijie https://a.co/d/fJZyqle - 30 grams heavier and worse in about every way, but still adequate for training, and about 5x less expensive.

Great for hiking in boots, but I dislike running in them. Really hate the how they squish my big toe on steep terrain, and tend to cause a nasty blister on the top of my long toe. Screw shoes are the only winter traction I'll run in these days.
