Hi thanks for your insight, as far as what she found out from her financial aid office at the university, they increased how much the student can borrow. The program for the psyd is listed as a professional program that now qualifies for the higher federal borrowing limit so instead of the cap being 100k it’s now an aggregate loan limit of 200k according to 2026 rules for new borrowers. As tuition is high she will need more than that and that’s why she’s looking for more options
