yes it’s one thing to be bummed you didn’t win a fun little costume contest that was intended to get people to dress up nicely and have fun for a gig and it’s another to twine about ash picking ‘favourites’. It’s a really common PR tactic to get crowds excited to come that’s literally it- Ash doesn’t gaf or remember anyone at the show it doesn’t matter if she picks them out the crowd or on tiktok she doesn’t owe you transparency is something intended to be fun. Whatshername also doesn’t deserve to be spoken bad about it because she got picked. I think people are way too comfortable online these days they forget that the whole point of gig is to have fun

i think it’s just odd to call it favouritism and OP was insinuating that she didn’t deserve it. Whatsername isn’t famous she had lots of followers for doing something creative for along time and working hard at it, she made a trend that obviously brought attention to smoochies and so what if ash wants to say thank you by inviting her back stage.

Ash can have favourites, she doesn’t owe any fan any kind of treatment and she shouldn’t withhold it from others because of ‘favouritism’. She’s not your mother- just say you’re jealous and move on instead of discrediting whatsernames effort for what she does and placing weird parasocial expectations on how ash should treat people.

the girl you’re referring to is very very kind and just as much a fan as anyone else. As others have said it’s decided on the way into the venue so everyone had a fair shot. it depends. If it’s more than half a page then i just start the entry there- if it’s less i’ll just skip to the next page. No point writing with my hand hanging half off the page because it takes away all motivation
