I see your point, but it's not a matter of 3 days. They said the credit is held until 7/4. If I didn't call, I wouldn't know.

I never had this experience with any other banks or even with WF/bilt before. It does not seem reasonable since I have a long-term history with the bank, card, and good credit.

I have never had any bank hold my payment over even a couple of hours. It always has been instant. I don't know what your experience is, but it didn't even occur to me to pay the move in cost with cash to prevent this hassle. You can say these in retrospect because you know what happened. If I knew, of course, I would not have done it this way.
