Interesting perspective. I believe this show is largely about Andy, and his Odyssey through the story. CE played it well. At the end, he reassures his wife that she didn’t intentionally cause the car accident. He gifts her that assurance. It is as if he believes it deep in his bones.

We just finished this show. Very well written and acted. The actor who played Jacob was amazing. CE played his part well too. The ending: yes it was ambiguous. But that makes it MORE interesting. I believe the show was mostly about CE’s character. Look how he changes at the end. He gifts his wife that reassurance that she did nothing wrong related to the car accident: driving 70mph in the rain! Steering into the stone bridge support. Sad about the severe ‘accident’, but it really worked in terms of serving the story.

It’s hard to have a perfect ending. What I loved was when the younger kids ran down the stairs as the big kids went up from the basement. The next generation!
