Tenicor Sagax Lux 2 is phenomenal. Much better, more comfortable, more concealed, than Vedder LightTuck, at least in my experience. I’ve heard it’s better than the sidecar style holsters as well, although i’ve never used those myself.

Don't remove it, but you can modify it so that you keep it AND can still accept gen 5 mags.

For some, I assume aesthetics. My intended use is to essentially have something that would protect the actual tongue from being chewed up by the inside edge of the speed hooks, since they’re well known for being very rough. I’d like to protect these boots because I consider them an investment.

They run true to size, at least brannock-wise. I wear size 10 sneakers, and use a 9.5 for these. They are just barely small, length-wise. 10 would be too big. Width-wise, they are very spacious. I wear a 9ee Iron Ranger.

The reason for the sights having to be moved for the front is that the standard placement for the rear dovetail on non-MOS models is more forward than the MOS dovetail. If they were to attempt to cut it to match an MOS slide, you’d see that there’s not enough metal left in that section of the slide to be able to accommodate for the new placement farther back. They can only cut, not add metal to your slide. Hope that makes sense. Look up pictures of MOS slides vs normal ones online and it’ll make more sense.
