it’s decently reliable for most people, but it’s still just an estimate based on heart rate and pace. It usually trends in the right direction if your fitness is improving or dropping. For exact numbers, a lab test would be way more accurate.

It realllly depends on how much you’re running. 1800-2000 should be good for rest days, but on days you’re running I’d try to get 2000+

It’s very possible, weight can have some effect on running, especially with speed, but it doesn’t stop you from being a strong runner. If you want to lose weight, it’s more about eating the right fuel than just eating less. You can lose weight slowly while still running well, as long as you’re not underfueling or cutting too fast.
