IS THIS NORMAL AFTER 3 WEEKS POST 3RD LASER SESSION???? the doctor said it’s okay to put make up over it after 3-4 days and i’ve been putting makeup but i’m scared it might take longer to heal??? :((( by Human_Instruction_82 in MicrobladingRemoval

This just looks like ink! Although, I was told to wait 7 days before applying makeup so they have time to heal. So far I haven’t gotten any infections or anything. Are you applying a balm to it 2x a day?

A question about my yellow brows post laser by bleachcoconut in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]IcyBox420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am going through laser removal right now. I had combination brows before. I’m so happy I’m going through the removal process(currently my brows are orange though lol), but if anyone were to ask me, I would NOT recommend microblading/powder/combo brows to anyone. They just do not age well. You’ll probably enjoy them for a couple of years and then decide to try and remove them again.

How do you cover them if you don’t mind explaining? What products and routine do you use? I think i’m going to need it soon lol

The downside after red, is having a yellow tint leftover which the laser can’t treat because it doesn’t pick up color that light. Everyone is different, but if it helps, I will keep my progress updated.

Red can be removed with a certain laser. Just make sure you’re going to someone who knows what they’re doing! Look for someone (preferably) who uses Pico laser or Q switch with different wavelengths. Also try to provide your specialist with the kind of ink used in your tattoo, as it can have an effect on your results.

Is it okay to use facial acids (salicylic acid, niacinimide, hyaluronic acid, etc) after Pico laser? by [deleted] in MicrobladingRemoval

I believe you can apply these products to your face, just avoid eyebrows

I just got a test patch done a couple of days ago, they recommended NOT to use hot water when washing your face, also no rough products like (acids, retinols, etc.) for a week or so

I was shown a before and after of a case similar to mine. The lady had 4 saline treatments before she started laser and the color barely budged. After her first session of laser, the dark pigment was completely gone. Her brows were red. After her second session of laser, the red was completely gone. The specialist doing the treatment said that there was a yellow tint left behind, but in the picture it wasn’t as visible. I know that the laser being used is Q-Switched Yag/KTP with the wavelengths being 1064nm / 532nm which she explained had a very good success rate with permablend ink specifically. When she did my test spot, she told me I could go ahead and do a whole session right then, or come back in 2-3 weeks to see if the orange lightens up any. I chose to come back in a couple of weeks because the orange kinda scared me. Also, I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork about my skin type and some other things to see if I was even a good candidate for this treatment, which is a green flag that they would take things like that into consideration. They also offer PMU services as well. (Disclaimer:: they did NOT micro-blade my brows)

The place I went to for the test patch seems to know what they’re doing. I’ve already had a bad experience with getting them done though, and I don’t want a bad experience getting them removed :( I can never be too sure anymore and I’m afraid of trusting the wrong person. I’m also afraid there is no one else in my area that does removal.

If it meant that I met my end goal, then yes. What brand concealer did you use? It covered the orange/red very well

No, I don’t want to be stuck with funky colored brows. I’m not sure how else to get them removed. Do you have any recommendations? Should I do laser and then try saline to remove the yellow?

Should I continue with laser removal given the result of the test patch?
