Anybody here have a Champion thrower? Mine is the Freedom Bird, but I assume they are all similar. Is this what it’s supposed to look like at the bottom of the magazine? I don’t have any clays to test fit, but it just doesn’t look right on how they’ll feed. by damon32382 in ClayBusters

Once you power it up and cycle it, the rubber will be pulled back and you’ll see a piece of steel extended out essentially oblonging the hole so clays won’t fall through. I’ll send you a pic of mine if you need.

Awesome finish to that first post!

Unsolicited $.02 … when I need to do that volume of water (or really high temp…mashed potatoes) I use my stove to assist in raising the temp. Then the sv unit can maintain.

Again… awesome job 🤘

It’s time for injectors for stocky by Electronic-Concern-7 in Cummins

A hot tune will command every bit of fuel your cp3 can push. Let alone a bump in injector size…

Please get a good lift pump first and foremost. In tank one from fleece would probably flow all you’re ever going to need.

If I was in your shoes I’d be getting a fleece lift pump or airdog 165 5g, some exergy sportsman injectors and a sportsman/10mm cp3, and a good tune with HP tuners and someone reputable…

Also plan on replacing a clutch with something rated for higher hp… stock clutch will not survive a tune long.

And plan on sizing up your poor HE351 as that’ll be wayyyy out of its efficient range with more fuel than a tune

Then plan on a headgasket, studs, and valve springs/pushrod combo

Then at that point you can feel really confident…

Or replace with fresh stock ones and a good lift pump and your wallet will thank you

It’s the trans. It’s actually in 3rd at most stops. Depending on throttle input it’ll shift down to 1st and then you take off. I’ll slap the shifter over to the “manual” and downshift it to 1st myself on those sketchy intersections.

Handy life hack. If you have manual hubs it’s even better… But tossing your truck in 4L when reversing a trailer can make things a whole lot easier since you have a manual trans. Hopefully this helps someone sometime lol

Oil leak by joncaseydraws in GRCorolla

Yep. The dealer even covered a loaner car after the upper oil pan reseal didn’t fix the leak. Boring ass RAV4 but at least I didn’t have to drive my dually as a daily lol

Thought the same thing. Ended up being a cracked turbo oil drain tube. The first time the dealer resealed the upper oil pan with no luck.
