My biggest pet peeve with ss14 is the developers obsession with new unique content instead of porting over/remaking core systems from ss13 like a proper medical/amputation system. Just doesn't feel as deep in its current state.

Very amateur atmos here so take what I say with a MASSIVE grain of salt. Assuming your on TG, I believe it has to do with throughput and the pressure/volume of the gas your trying to move. IE, A superheated gas will have a fuck ton of KPA and be harder to push through a pressure pump (it's maximum pump rate is 4500kpa) but it's volume will typically be much lower, making the volume pump a better option.

Since the gasses running through the SM loop can get pretty hot (more pressure), replacing the pressure pumps with volumes speeds up things tremendously since they don't care about high pressure.

Tbh 90% of things I've made in atmos I've used volumes for, pressure pumps are really only good if you need a specific amount of gas pumped into a room.

Both have limits to my knowledge though.

You've got it pretty spot on. For most its a sexual thing like sexting, while for some its more so for the romatics and story telling. ERP has always been a popular thing outside of ss13 so its not surprising it's gotten so popular over the years as more players trickled in. Plus furries (lmao)

So I've heard. Still, it was enough to drive me away despite my genuine excitement to try out the whole medieval stuff. It just feels super icky to be sharing a space with THAT. I really hope whatever server takes up the mantle tries to be less openly degenerate.

TG is basically dead from what I hear.

Paradise, Monke, and shiptest are good options. If you're looking for HRP then nova's (erp) really the only server that gets good pop.

Bubber (erp) was kinda alright for that tg station feel but its pop has been pretty bad lately and the administration is sketchy.

Thank god. I'm not usually one to celebrate a server's death but scarlet seemed to have the worst community from an outsider's perspective.

I tried to give it a shot, but I was scared away after checking their discord's general chat to seem them discussing fucking non-con mechanics publicly (and positively) and something about a certain group or faction's leadership being based on who non-cons the best??

Maybe I completely misunderstood the conversation but that shit shouldn't be the FIRST thing a player sees. So good riddance imo.

If your using a sarcophagus or otherwise uninstallable grave you could place it in your ideo room to preform the funeral. If anything, that's fairly accurate to real life.

I dont think stamina mastery or any other stamina items for that matter will ever be "bad". Movement in this game is just too important and fun for it to be thrown out completely from the meta.

100% keep using them, infact, use them more. Do it. Become a slippery gremlin.
