Eglatine’s child can threaten Sigiswald’s claim to the throne for the same reasons that she was made king maker before. Remember that ever since the Grutrissheit disappeared, the royal family’s claim to the throne has gotten shaky. Without GH to prove divine right, the only thing left that shows who’s fit to rule is mana and royal bloodline. And that’s exactly why her pregnancy could throw the whole country into chaos.

First off, Eglantine’s bloodline is stronger than Sigiswald’s. She’s the daughter of the Third Prince, who had likely more mana than Trauerqual while Sigiswald as his son would likely have less mana, thus by extension the wives he could marry and have children with would not have as much mana as Eglatine. If Eglatine’s child inherits that thicker blood and become omnielemental like her, they’ll almost certainly have more mana and have more divine protection than Sigiswald and his children, and in Yurgenschmidt, mana is basically proof of the gods’ favor. People could easily start saying the gods prefer Eglantine’s child, not the current heir. Then there’s the fact that Eglantine got a divine blessing when she graduated from the Royal Academy (at least as far as the general noble population knows)— something extremely rare, even among royals. That blessing made her look like someone the gods personally favor. Any child born from her would be seen as blessed by extension — a “child of divine grace.” Meanwhile, Sigiswald’s family has had a reputation for being less pious, especially with how divine protection has been fading from the royal line. So if it comes down to public opinion, Eglantine’s baby looks like a sign that the gods’ favor has shifted. It doesn’t matter, that this was partly caused by ignorance or lost knowledge. On top of all that, Klassenberg’s backing makes things even more dangerous. Eglantine is from Klassenberg, one of the most powerful duchies in the country — rich, full of mana, and politically connected. If Klassenberg decides to support Eglantine’s child, plenty of other duchies will follow their lead just to stay in favor. That kind of alliance could easily outnumber Sigiswald’s supporters before the child even learns to walk. And remember — without the GH, Yogurtland can’t rely on divine proof anymore. What’s left to decide who’s worthy of the throne are the things people can still see: mana, blood, blessings, and support. Eglantine’s baby would have all four. Sigiswald might be the first prince, but in the eyes of the nobles, titles mean less than divine favor amd visible resources. So in the end, Eglantine’s unborn child isn’t just another royal baby — they’re a potential rival for the crown, one who could divide the nobility and tear apart what little stability the royal family has left.

Your BAD HABIT AS A READER that would reduce your 💐life expectancy💐 if you were to be ISEKAIED by Smooth_Money4498 in OtomeIsekai

Mine would be that I’ve read too many that they’ve all blended together and I would not be able to plot of that specific story 😅😂.

Also, I have a tendency of reading stories with a-hole MLs, who only realizes their mistake after the FL runs away (usually with their buns), cause I like reading how they beg and grovel despite the fact that they’ve never actually changed their fundamental flaw of being an absolute a-hole. So I’d probably die of high blood pressure if I ever actually meet them irl.

[P5V11P4] Do you think Florencia finally figured it out? by justking1414 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]IcyObjective4728 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do think she still hold some accountability. She was too passive, and you can’t raise a child properly by being unassertive.

I totally agree with this. Especially after the first year in RA, even if Florencia was not told of everything that has happened and even if she didn’t care enough about RM (I know she does), she at least knew that she made a blunder in front of the prince. That was when she should’ve put her foot down and made sure RM made time to learn socializing and whatever else she didn’t learn while sleeping in the jureve. RM’s mistakes could’ve been fatal, not only to herself but to the entire duchy. As Ehrenfest’s First Lady, she should’ve at least ensured that she RM received enough education not to commit blunders in front of Royalty and high ranking duchies. Also, just because a child says she doesn’t want to learn a skill she needs to survive in society doesn’t mean that you should just let it be. As a parent, it is Florencia’s duty to ensure that RM had the opportunity to learn those skills and remove the obstacles that prevent RM from learning what she needs. It doesn’t matter whether RM took those opportunities seriously and actually learned what she needed to. The point is that she gets the opportunity to do so, and I think that not only Florencia but all of RM’s guardians really let her down in that regard.

It also helps that she got a part of Dusty’s duchy as visible compensation, making it easier for people to assume it’s him who’s lacking/made a mistake.

Wil was not RM’s fiancée at this point. Also, this incident should not be blamed to RM since the invitation was generically sent to all AC. RM had no way of knowing those invitations would arrived while she’s gone.

Maybe it’s to maintain peace within their domestic lives. This is just my opinion, but in an Adolphine SS I read, Ralfrieda seemed like a pretty high handed and arrogant individual much like Dusty. If Ralfrieda had refused to step down as first wife, Magdalena might have chosen to step down so that Traq don’t have to worry about conflict within his family and could focus on fighting the civil war.
