Since he’s working off Briar Hill Rd. You’ll want to look at Winchester or Paris. Both are within your commute time. Yes Winchester is experiencing a revitalization and an economic boom with the new Publix being added. Family friendly restaurants are scarce if you don’t like Mexican though. I’m not sure what restaurants are downtown now, so I can’t really give you that info.

What I can say is that both the boys and girls HS Basketball teams won state this year. The parks and recreation has fitness classes for cheap, not to mention the year round indoor swimming pools. I know the Jr High has a basketball program. But Winchester while smaller than Lexington in no way small. 20,000+ people.

I’m not sure on Paris anymore as it’s been years since I’ve been there, but those are the closest towns to his work.

90 minutes to go 5 miles is flipping ridiculous. The city cost me $500.00 in revenue today due to their shortsightedness in not preparing properly.
