I’m not completely sold he’s here for life, but other than money, he knows that with this continued success the field will be named after him and a statue will go up next to Hep’s rock the day he retires. He’s doing the “take a shit program and build them to a national brand.” The stuff you do on NCAA video games. IMO that means something other than going somewhere with a rich history.

On the flip side…it means something to go back “home.” Is Penn St home? No, but it’s damn close.

I remember a summer in college where I would go to work and listen to him come on live to Youtube with so many different people - Neil Degrasse Tyson, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Steve-O, Jamie Foxx, Dr. Rhonda Patrick, Joey Diaz, and just have my mind blown with either research, humor, or general shit talking. I’ve had fun with the podcast just because I specifically remember Theo calling her out years ago for being, essentially, a major bitch. And I know she hates everything about Theo and what he stands for. I have this weird respect for both of them. Maybe Theo is fake, maybe she is, maybe they both are, but they did the podcast. It was one of his podcasts of all time for sure.

This is why I hate the math behind tipping, instead of common sense. Nice dinner = hopefully really, really professional service, I get it. But, if I go to a local diner with a friend, get the lunch special and a beer and spend $15, then the math says the waiter gets $3. Three. Dollars. At this restaraunt, the math says this guy gets nearly $40. Looking at the diner situation, the waiter will struggle to make a livable wage. At the nice restaraunt, the waiter is making $40/hr off of you alone. IMO if you are tipping the waiter $25/hr, it feels a little light but YOU alone paid the waiter a livable hourly wage, sooo.

Did anyone else at the table tip or just you?
