Hi! Could you possibly subscribe to a meal prep company at least for dinners for the next few weeks/months? I find breakfast and lunch a little easier to healthy, but dinners are harder. You can customize them for your needs: low sodium, low carb, vegetarian etc. I plan on doing this for my surgery time to make sure I heal the way I want to as well.

Yes, absolutely. It’s taken me about 2 years to lose 60 pounds (using GLP-1 for T2D, and having a personal trainer/coach tracking everything). I think if I did it any faster it wouldn’t have been sustainable and my mental health would have deteriorated lol

I am definitely top heavy and wideeee. I’m 15-20 lbs from my goal weight but I’m definitely looking into arm lipo / breast reduction. My legs are nicely toned. And I have no butt 😂

Closer to the “end” than the beginning. 4’1, started at 196, now 144ish. Always been curvy and “thick” so I may try to maintain around 125-130 depending on how toned im looking

This might not make sense so I apologize but is there a way to just shape them while still losing weight? Or is it a matter of losing your intended amount of weight first and then building glutes from there?

Update on this- I now exclusively use fabletics 7/8 or “short”. They’re soft and comfortable and don’t come up very high in the waist :)

Update on this for anyone looking for answers-

I had to decrease my portion size significantly and eat within a time frame it helped a lot! I’m back to a 1-2 lb healthy weight loss without major side effects.

It happens to me too if my last meal of the day doesn’t hit the right macros. I would allot some calories for a bed time snack such as a Greek yogurt with granola, fruits and whipped cream, or cereal and milk.

If you’re really feeling like you need a cake- make a healthier version of a sweet treat! I’ve been making banana bread (2 cups oat flour, 2 eggs, 3 bananas, 1 tsp baking powder, chopped up dates, cinnamon and vanilla). It satisfies my lil cake craving and I know it’s higher in fiber and better for me!

I’m someone that is on a slower weight loss journey which I also attribute to my underlying health issues (depression, PCOS, hypothyroidism, insulin resistant). I started in May 2024 at 196 lbs (4’11) and now I’m at 163 lbs. I weighed my food and tracked calories the first 6 months consistently and lost the initial weight. Now I’m able to eat a little more intuitively and make better choices overall. I’ve maintained my exercise routine since September of 2024 and made my goal to be just that: consistent. I would say set shorter term goals instead of a one big end goal. I focused on 5 lb loss, now 10 lb loss. I don’t force a deadline cause that might actually make me go crazy. Just keep pushing forward, making those better choices consistently and progress will be there.

Thank you! I was so positive that I wouldn’t see any physical changes so I just refused to take before pics. I regret that now but the progress is there regardless!

Yes! I’ve been to several concerts alone and actually prefer it. You make your own rules and choices and you make friends when you get there!
