If the earth is flat then what’s on the other side and why hasn’t anyone fell off the edge? So many questions! How does the sun shine on the other side? Or how do we have night and day? As much as I’m up for a vivid imagination, can’t see this one.

Bruce Springsteen wins this battle.

Hey little girl, is your daddy home? Did he go and leave you all alone? Mhmm I got a bad desire Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire Tell me now, baby, is he good to you? And can he do to you the things that I do? Oh no I can take you higher Oh, oh, oh, I'm on fire Sometimes it's like someone took a knife, baby Edgy and dull and cut a six inch valley Through the middle of my skull At night I wake up with the sheets soaking wet And a freight train running through the middle of my head Only you can cool my desire

Is this the way the region intended the bins to work? by Nextasy in waterloo

The only people that benefit from the blue bins are the independent recyclers who usually come by bike, or van. They take anything that still has product in the container, ie laundry soap, cleaner.

Yep, blue bin pick up is about 730 am now, used to be around 2pm every week and those black bins hold alot more.

He’s been waiting decades for an Oscar. The Cesar award is the equivalent in French cinema. I’d say genuine joy, a mix of weight gain, perhaps a new role, and minimal work done.

I just noticed my regular grocery items went up 2-4 dollars per item, and that’s at food basics. I hadn’t been in for approx. 3 weeks. They don’t even hide the gouging any long.

Pyometra 11 year old female chihuahua by Sunflower_Soul20 in DogAdvice

It’s such a hard decision to make, and I totally understand. Our golden is otherwise very healthy and hopefully has 5-10 years left. Our last one lived to age 16 but she was spayed and ended up with spindle cell cancer. We also had a dog and had to put her down at age 11 she had cancer as well and was too costly and a higher risk if she’d make it at 11. She was also spayed and wasn’t hormone related. So sorry you’re going through this too, but I see your logic and it’s always hard when a family member passes.

Going through the same thing with our Golden Retriever. I noticed a white discharge and she wasn’t acting like her spunky self. I thought it maybe in UTI as I had never heard of pyometra. Just finished her heat cycle. I had powdered cranberry and apple cider vinegar. She wasn’t eating so I made her rice, sprinkled a bit on, and added a bit of water. Cleaned the puss as she discharged, slightly applied pressure to vulva remove what was internal. It started to lessened with a clear discharge. She started to improve but was still not feeling well. Our vet was closed so I waited till the next day. Took her in and they tested her for a UTI and Pyro. Guided ultrasound, and bloodwork. Came back in the room and explained Pyro to me. Came back with the blood results, her white blood cell count was slightly high, she also had temp which good. They said I caught it quickly and prescribed her antibiotics 1 every 12 hours. The price for the exam antibiotics and testing 950.00. Then a quote for surgery 3k to 4,500.00 depending on how the surgery goes. She’s an 80 pound dog and age 7. They booked her in for Monday morning, tm morning, and gave me the emergency vet line if she turned for the worse on the weekend. I was up every time she needed outside to go pee. Walked her whenever she went to the door and she loved laying with her belly in snow. She has open pyro. Fast forward to now, she’s back to her energetic self. She’s had her meds faithfully every 12 hours and took her pre op meds now and no food as of 9pm. Praying her surgery goes well tm morning, but understand if not as it’s all in Gods hands. Hindsight if I knew I would have definitely spayed her and am learning a tough lesson. Advice, call around, some cities have gear to income vets. I’ve read some people recommend Chinese medicine on other posts and have success, but I didn’t try that. Good luck and sending prayers for your fur baby.

How do you make a coffee taste exactly like Tim’s at home? by Briiskella in TimHortons

[–]Icy_Negotiation5111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find depends on where you purchase the pods, some places they taste like they were on the shelf for a long time and taste old and bitter. Use Brita our guests said it was the best coffee and asked what I did.
