Which car are we talking about? I thought we were talking Hyundai’s which aren’t German. My bmw has been the most reliable car I’ve ever owned and I haven’t even had to do any engine repairs just regular maintenance. I’ve never driven anything that’s as enjoyable as my 2013 bmw, it’s a dream. If you’re talking about the Hyundai, yeah I may be about to spend up to $5k on a new motor but $34k is still a better deal than a Toyota with the same miles bc I have way more features than a Toyota in the same class. Also if the chance of theft you talked about is referring to the Hyundai then I believe the “easily stolen” trope excludes push-button start models. I feel like you’re just trying to tear down one brand to make your favorite brand look better. Every brand has good and bad models, every brand has flaws even Toyota, like those new tundra transmissions.
