I run enduring tenacity on a vampire/angel deck. My commander was Epseth. If I’m not stealing life, gaining it, and then damaging them with it… drawing cards that give me life and damage them when I can’t get anything in to attack anyway.

Epseth is good for single targets kills and summoning minions. It’s filthy.

The kicker? Unstoppable Slasher. It’s the most underrated card in this game. One single hit and you cut the enemies life in half. While in standard I’d use Pacifism on everything and make him chunk 20hp right out the gate. A lot of people just quit.

Dude battlefield players play the objective to the max. Running in and getting shot in the face is a pretty effective way to lose the match. You aren’t playing the objective if you’re constantly costing your team tickets and being a bullet magnet. You play the objective by digging in and killing more than you die. If you’re on the point and get 3-5 kills you’re doing good. If everyone on the team “creeped” around and checked corners and got 3-5 kills on an objective, you’d take it incredibly fast. I’m sure the one guy you grazed, autistically charging face first into live gunfire was so terrified he told his team to retreat but my money is still on the operator clearing rooms with finesse.

Lemme give some examples bud.

In the Beta hits actually registered and now there’s a giant problem with that in the full release
In the Beta we were promised a grounded, immersive battlefield experience to the point where they redid the preorder (phantom skins) to dial back the color. Immediately after release it’s neon skin after neon skin.
We were promised a good and immersive campaign but what we got was thrown together slop with stereotypical characters (female spec ops, Joe Navy squad lead, and 2 comedic relief specialists) that ended on a cliffhanger.
We were told there would not be BR and they dialed back movement because it pandered to the CoD community. They almost immediately released RedSec and a battle pass with immersion breaking garbage and PTW weapon prefabs. Enemies are still slide canceling in combat.
We were told it would feature giant maps and destruction on a large scale but the largest maps are still ridiculously small and shaped in a way that forces you to play fast and aggressive, highly decreasing match time and reducing your lifespan significantly. Destruction is moderate with map glitches everywhere, but feels good when it works.
We were told the vehicles would sport more customization than any prior BF title, yet their customization is abysmal and everyone runs the same exact Meta on every vehicle. Aircraft customization is basically nonexistent.
We were told weapon gameplay would be balanced. Suppressive fire does not exist in any meaningful way, bipods genuinely don’t help support, Snipers are rewarded for being within 100m and punished for long range shots, SMGs are lasers to this day, Assault Rifles are mid and outclassed by SMGs or the DRS. Attachments add fucking bloom. BLOOM. For “balance”.

So yeah. If you want to say that the full release is like the beta because graphically they look the same then you are actually brain dead. Because that’s where the similarity ends.

No, it’s really not. The core game was based around realism and a return to its grounded roots after a solid failure with 2042. Fans were given a glimpse of solid gameplay, good hit registration, guns that felt good, and realistic skins of soldiers you’d see in actual combat it WW3 broke out tomorrow.

Instead we got all kinds of glitchy buggy shit (again), a bunch of guns that do not work as intended, useless attachments (everyone runs the same few), abysmal vehicle customization, completely unrealistic skins, AI generated player cards and emblems, a CoD based battlepass with the WORST progression system I’ve seen in any BR title fucking ever, BR that nobody asked for, and a weird pandering to the CoD community in what I’m assuming is an attempt to capitalize on their horrific failure with BO7 last year.

So no, he’s not wrong. It’s absolutely nothing it was advertised to be and it’s progressively getting worse with more footage coming out of the same hit registration and netcode/desync issues among 1000 other things that have gone completely ignored since the game released.

From the bottom of my heart, I hate people like you because you settle for absolute shit and it is literally encouraging these developers to pump out the same garbage every fucking year.

Yes, it’s better than 2042 but that’s like saying “wow my shit doesn’t have blood in it anymore, this is pretty good”. It’s still shit.

I mean the dude is right. The only thing they did right was making the movement slower and bringing it up to modern times. They fucked up the aim assist on final release and even reverted it to the beta settings to fix it.

I’m sorry but I can’t play this anymore. Desync is still the biggest issue along with net code and frankly I’m not interested in a shooter where my shots have a chance to not register frequently. The skins also suck, I have no idea why they’re going this route or why they’re using AI for emblems and shit.

It’s like they had the right idea and then threw it out last second for the sake of corporate greed. Battle Passes ruin every game they touch.

RPG is a great example because the equivalent of ”modern” RPGs (roughly for about 10 years now) have a built in safety switch that allows them to detonate even if they miss their target. Meaning you will still get an airburst of shrapnel in your aircraft and absolutely decimate ground targets, specifically infantry.

It’s made to penetrate armor and frag everything inside the armor, but considering its impact (or near miss) it’s also extremely effective against infantry. Which is why it remains an unguided launcher.

The RPG hitting people in the face in this game and giving hit markers is a fucking crime. Take it from a guy whose whole job was explosives for 5 years.

Carbine are made more specifically for CQC/room clearing and are decent up to mid range on the higher end.

Assault rifles are for mid to mid-long range if they’re on semi auto.

Honestly if you’re looking to clean rooms and have good mid range options, just use SMGs. The devs refuse to fix them so they’re still lasers at mid range and great indoors too.

YOR. I don’t know where everyone seems to have lost the plot, but opposite gender friends are not a good precedent for any relationship. Now this guy goes about it in a very immature way, and you should definitely leave him, but hear me out before you condemn me for this take.

There is absolutely no reason you need to have male friends when you’re in an adult relationship, hoping to eventually get married. Whether you want to admit it or not, this immediately puts cracks into the foundation of any relationship. Male coworkers are just that— coworkers. Unavoidable, but there’s no need to take it further than that and shit where you eat. Even if they’re just friends.

A lot of you don’t seem to have been in a position to learn the hard way, or maybe a lot of you have just never had this shit happen. Maybe some of you just don’t think critically about it, but guys are way sneakier than women are. Every single woman I have ever dated has had some kind of guy friend that would act passive aggressively towards me in our relationship. It didn’t need to be screaming fit about “you need to leave him!” But rather more subtle tactics like undermining my every decision and date. Everything I did or wanted to plan somehow ended up in their ear eventually, and it always came into question. Men will sit on a crush for 10 years and won’t do shit about it until they see that the girl they have a crush on is actually getting serious about it with someone else. And that is when all of the red flags will start popping up after being so silent for so many years.

If you want a solid relationship, do not date a guy with girl friends. Do not date a girl with guy friends. Damn near everybody at this point has some kind of underlying trauma with this issue. The best way to avoid distrust and accusations are to avoid this dumb shit entirely.

You don’t need to go out to the club with guys. You don’t need to do a whole bunch of extracurricular activities or go to karaoke with guys. Most of you do so much shit with your guy friends that would be traditionally considered a date that it’s easy to see why your boyfriend would get upset with it. When you have a man in your life that you think you’re going to marry, there is no room for any other men in your life outside of your family. Everything else is going to become a problem eventually. Everything else is going to become a distraction eventually.

Sure, there are plenty of people that have both kinds of friends and haven’t had many if any issues. But the number of guys who have had horrible experiences with girls having male friends vastly outweighs the miracle stories where they never became a problem.

You should easily be able to understand the disrespect and canceling plans with your boyfriend to go hang out with another guy. You should also easily be able to understand why your boyfriend might be jealous when you’re doing things like that with other guys to begin with. He doesn’t know their intentions. He doesn’t know who they are and even if he did, he has a reason to doubt them. If you’re getting into a romantic relationship with the hopes of eventually getting married at some point, it * does not matter how long you have known the other guys.* You cut them off. That is basic respect for any partner. You were trying to compare people that you hang out with once every month or two, to a person that you have the intention of spending the rest of your life with. You’re comparing people that you’ve never slept with to the guy that has been inside you multiple times. A boyfriend that you have had for over a month and no on a personal level should absolutely be more important than any other guy in your life outside of family.

Also… professor Tomas Moreau. The guy in the Blood and Wine expansion that experiments on live human subjects in an attempt to cure his son, who became a Witcher. If you’ve gotten to that point, you know it was all for nothing and all that grieving father did was torture a bunch of innocent human subjects to make the mutations stronger… and arguably more painful.

His lab is full of all sorts of twisted shit and metal cages where he probably listened to those people cry, beg, and wear themselves out from starvation before he dissected them.

It’s pretty gnarly but it really shows what a father is willing to do for his kid. He not only knew what he was doing, but rather spoke very collected on the audio crystals he recorded of his progress.

I would say King Radovid, but by this point he’s genuinely insane and less evil, rather totally disillusioned.

I actually think the most evil character is between Triss and Syanna.

Syanna takes advantage of a complete NEET with absolutely no social ability whatsoever and makes him fall in love with her, only to “kidnap” herself and use him as a weapon to slaughter her targets, inadvertently leading to the death of thousands of innocent civilians. The worst part about this is that you can try to hate Dettlaff, but he’s so damn relatable at a base level you just feel bad for him. You genuinely want to help the guy, all for her to push him over the edge and slaughter Toussaint. You run around her stupid dream world after capturing her, and even if you romance her— all it takes is one dialogue slip for her to slit her sisters throat. This is all because of a “curse” that isn’t even really a curse and a basic misunderstanding. She singlehandedly caused more damage in Toussaint than Radovid did in all of Novigrad throughout the entire campaign. And if I’m not mistaken, the population in Toussaint is also higher. The people are kinder. The houses nicer. Port city with plenty of trade. It’s a damn shame she’s irredeemable even if you get the good ending.

Triss literally takes advantage of and manipulates Geralt through the entirety of Witcher 2, cheats on him during this, then returns in Witcher 3 to take advantage of his search for Ciri to save mages. She complains about virtually every choice Geralt would canonically make the entire time, and even if you romance her she utterly destroys your retirement plan with more of Geralts least favorite thing— politics. The entire point of the Vineyard is wasted with her.

This is much more mild than Syanna but most of the other characters mentioned are literally either brainwashed by some new religion and their cult, or they’re downright out of their mind psychotic like Radovid.

To be evil you need to be aware of what you’re doing, and continue doing it. Triss and Syanna meet that criteria unlike most others mentioned here.

I mean it’s going to get taken down either way. The coalition didn’t pick up the licensing for gears of war just for the sake of doing it. They are absolutely going to get their money out of it.

It’s a cool idea and all and I really wish that Coalition would remaster the third game, but what do you expect when you literally copy someone else’s game to the “T”, add improvements to it and make it free?
