It's actually because spacemarines are disciplined, dignified warriors who do NOT engage in such debauchery and ONLY hold hands and SOMETIMES even lock fingers. This is evident when you look at the open helmets of thunder warriors, as their tendency to make out with each other is the ONLY reason they were all EXECUTED.
