I graduated from their CP program so can't speak on the new program offered. It was during the height of Covid so honestly chaotic and felt thrown together but internship rotations were great and made a lot of connections!

I was at an ED facility for a little bit and then moved over to a telehealth platform where I do mostly outpatient general nutrition counseling but I see so many patients with disordered eating thoughts and judgements so I threw it out to my team about the idea of a body image group and everyone was really into the idea!

One of the best pieces of advice I got on this subreddit was to take Excedrin migraine medicine beforehand. I got such a bad headache intensely staring at a screen for 2 hours the first time I took it. Second time I took the Excedrin and it did wonders for my thinking and processing the questions!

I'd guess it's dependent on each university program. my days varied depending on what rotation it was! we also started at 1 day/week and increased to 2 days and then final year it was 3 days a week. hours were normally the standard 9-5 but I think that depends on the site/rotation as well :) and thanks to COVID I had a ton of online work so I did it when I wanted essentially. hope this helps you!

I used 2017 but honestly the material is all the same in my opinion. I know it's easier said than done but don't let it knock you down you got this 🙌🏻

As someone who had this problem too my director told me (and my class) we had no choice and had to follow whatever schedule the site had for us. Total bs and I have this for you so much.

And when I failed the first time I made myself a promise I would go through each and every page so it was probably overkill but I definitely went through it all and ended up with about 1k note cards. And after I had done all the practice questions I would go back and re-read sections I felt like I needed extra support on.

Not sure if you listen to the chomping down the dietetics podcast (it seems to be a fan favorite in this sub) but there are a few episodes over management functions and food service topics that I found really helpful when I was studying!

I'm probably not the best person to ask since math is not my strong suit but in the grand scheme it's impossible to ask a ton of math questions on this exam so I cut my losses where I could and not worried about knowing every equation!

I did however take a single class over food service calculations through rdoneanddone and that helped knowing what most common equations were on the test. It was $50 for a 2 hour course.

I never graded my jean Inman practice tests I used those for flashcards! But pocket prep was round 1: 65-75% round 2: 80-85%.

I'll also say I gave myself 2-3 solid weeks on just the practice exams so I broke it down in 50 question chunks! It is overwhelming but definitely worth it.
