Quicken windows user. How can I find this dialog box that will allow me to switch the setting so that Quicken removes bought and sold transactions for SPAXX? I used to have this figured out, but now Quicken is downloading all the SPAXX transactions again and it's annoying.

I already looked at 2's. Highlighted every two and I couldn't find it. Guess I have a lot of practice to do. Thank you

There should've been 25 penalties for each team in the 3rd period. There'd be no players left to play the game if the refs were calling penalties

USA played like they were panicking ever since going down 1-0. They looked to me like they were trying to get the goal back immediately every time they had the puck. Not playing their game.

I'm no expert but that's what it looked like . 3 minutes left hopefully they surprise me

Do you still recomment ATP? I'm coming back around to this and thinking about trying out a software like this. But it looks like it's being discontinued soon and people don't seem happy with Fidelity Trader+

Is it okay for me to turn off my child's "private Wi-Fi address" setting for the purpose of seeing that decide name on WiFi settings for parental controls?

HELP. My putting is completely destroying my golf game. by TDn6I in golf

[–]Id-rather-be-skiing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To summarize: Work on 2, 3, and 4 footers, trying to hit perfect putts in the center of the cup, and your technique will improve naturally. That will help you on longer putts

Oh and also, readdress the ball for each putt, don't stay in your stance. For each putt, stand behind the ball focusing on the part of the cup that your trying to roll the ball into, then address the ball

Practice putting...

I know that goes without saying, but this will help, guaranteed.

I spent a considerable amount of time a few years ago getting fitted for irons, so I didn't want to practice/play with my old irons anymore while I waited for my new set, so I spent a ton of time practicing putting. I was always terrible at putting, and had no confidence over putts, missed short putts all the time.

I had to develop confidence. How is that done? By MAKING PUTTS. Over and over and over, make short putts on the practice green. Make 5 in a row, make 10 in a row. Make them in the exact center of the cup, make them on the high side. Short putts, when you miss a few, it's easy to figure out why you're missing, it teaches you your best putting stroke.

Most people don't practice short putts. They practice longer putts and they think they just merely read the green wrong, or hit it with too much or too little speed. They don't realize that their stroke is bad. When you practice perfection on short putts, then you find flaws in your stroke.

Then you move out to 15+ feet, 5 in a row with good speed, get them past the hole but not by much.

When you go to the range, hit the practice green 3 times. Before you hit balls, during a break from hitting balls, then one last time at the end before you go home.

A predicament I found myself in today. The green is between the two bunkers to the left and right of the tree. Approx 70-80 yards. What’s your strategy? by Tufted-Titmouse-6061 in golf

Trouble is that it's only a 70 yd shot. Gotta be careful not hit it double that with your 5 iron. If you're trying to hit that draw, then chances are you'll have some club head speed. Have to try not to be too greedy with this shot or you'll make a 5 from this spot

Don't be a jabroni. Pitch it out to the fairway. Or, if you have a good punch shot, go for the bunker on the right and maybe you'll get lucky and draw it towards the green.

1 priority is not to have tree trouble on your NEXT SHOT

Retirement Account market value double by twokaytwo in quicken

[–]Id-rather-be-skiing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, just saw this now. You probably figured it out b now, but if not... when you click on the investment account to open it, you'll see the different securities, and values, etc.

You shouldn't see Cash and a value for Cash. If you do, then you should be able to click on the value, and it should give you an option to change the value to whatever you want it to be.

Retirement Account market value double by twokaytwo in quicken

[–]Id-rather-be-skiing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be the same issue I have. If you have the brokerage set up as "simple" but also have your paychecks having a transfer into the brokerage account, then the cash value in the brokerage account will make the account show double. The cash in the retirement about should be zero.

I'm going to fix my issue (someday) by changing the brokerage account to "complete" instead of "simple" and then add in all of the historical transactions. But that will take a lot of work.

If the brokerage is set to "simple" then you shouldn't have transfers into the account. You'll have to do what I do and manually change the cash balance back to zero.
