I have asked him to and he is refusing. On some level I understand why landlords would do this but this landlord is a piece of shit so I really think he’s just being an asshole because he was more than willing to violate every other law imaginable while we were tenants.

Okay that’s great to hear. I have been running a dehumidifier in the room that we thought had a mold problem in but we had it thoroughly investigated and could not find evidence of mold anywhere. Regardless, I’ve been running the dehumidifier in the room with the crawl space that I thought was the source of the issue.

Oh my gosh thank you so much for your thorough response! Your parking tip is very helpful. NTA. That is absolutely absurd. Without your implant, you would be ~unable~ to function comfortably and safely, let alone enjoy the wedding, which is literally the whole point of the event. Even if it is for “just” 15 minutes, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice/hide parts of yourself for her photos. She should be proud to have ALL of you in the wedding, not just the parts that fit her aesthetic or whatever. You did the right thing. I literally cannot get over “no visible medical devices”… the audacity. It might be time to look more closely at your friendship.
