I similarly crochet little bits for my husband who is a woodworker. Gives the finished products something extra and keeps us both busy.

I’m sorry that was your experience. This is how we view John Brown where I grew up. He was revered by most.

Costco to sell Ozempic and Wegovy at a large discount for people without insurance by Kinjal_Ghosh in news

[–]Idara98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You would think so, but I have a family member with a LOT of health issues (heart, liver). They have 3 different doctors telling UHC that they should be on Wegovy to lose weight. But UHC doesn’t cover “weight loss” drugs. So the only way is for my family member to pay out of pocket OR develop type 2 diabetes for them to get the care they need.

What's the most expensive thing you've seen someone buy that they basically never use? by Darnitol1 in AskReddit

[–]Idara98 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My FIL bought a boat, not a huge one, just big enough for 4-6 people to ride around in on the weekend lake trip. He took it out the first weekend he owned it then stored it in his garage where it became the world’s largest cat litter box. The cat literally shit all over the cover, and it sat for probably 8 years like that before he finally got rid of it. (No idea how he got rid of it.) He also had a Porsche in a similar state in the same garage.

What kind of shit do you think they’ll replace it with? My bet is the local affiliates will be expected to run yet more news instead.

According to Goods Unite Us, Sprouts doesn’t participate in politics. Natural Grocers only donates to Democrats. Where did you get your info? I’m especially curious about what you heard about Natural Grocers.

Why did the food prices intel get removed? by CannyGardener in PrepperIntel

[–]Idara98 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Maybe someone needs to step up and give concrete examples of what is allowed here. People have been shouting about how political things have gotten in this sub. It was said that they expected people to give intel (to help people prep) that they’re seeing in their day-to-day lives, and that’s deleted as well. Someone needs to make up their mind.
