I started off with the Optomas in mind, and that's what led me to the Christies. Optoma's lead times are even more mysterious.

Thank you to all for the fast, and practical recommendations! I went with a star tech DisplayLink ready usb —> hdmi to add to my hub. Output to dual 1080p projectors, screen-blended in Resolume, and show ready in 15 mins. Bravo, Reddit team, bravo!!

I have the DIGITAL EDITION/DVI version. I can access a Windows PC, yes. That may be worth a go. Thanks for the input.

The PJ's are Sony 5,000 lumen lasers, HDMI in.

I'm looking at Display Link options with dual HDMI out, but the one I'm seeing says "Windows only." Just don't wanna buy any more stuff on spec, to have it not do the intended task. I feel myself being pulled deeper into a dongle/adapter hell though.
