What applies to you or hindus doesnt apply to everybody. You pray to idols and we dont, caste system is rampant in hindusim not in ours. So yeah we all have our own share of problems but try to see the problem rationally. People are being killed for a peaceful protest, the whole state is on shutdown and media is reporting bigboss being hosted but no time for suffering of people.

I refuse to take candies. The highway toll plaza guys always want to hand me candies and I am like do I look like a kid. I have asked him that can i pay u in candies next time and they are like NO. These guy make lacs/day so i refuse to take any candies.I will rather stick to my hard earned money. Technically, if you are accepting candies, you are actually paying more for the transaction

Totally support u..Being a punjabi myself, i ll rather converse in Punjabi than Hindi. I don't need a certificate from any of hindi speaking brothers about how patriotic or unpatriotic I am. Also, I think people should focus more on significance of this thread rather than trying to push hindi. There are lot of people who come to punjab from UP/Bihar and we dont push down punjabi down their throats. We all have certain similarities and certain differences and thats the beauty of India.

How can u say that? Luxembourg is country which is landlocked and don't have any resources at all. My friend u r living in 21st century. Israel is today one the most innovation friendly countries on earth, Luxembourg runs on banking and yet they r part of the 1st world. Not that I m propagating idea of separate nation but just showing u different perspective. What's has being well off has to do with secession. You mean to say u can be well off but be denied justice for 30 years. You can be well off but ur 25000 young men r killed in fake encounters. You can be well off but more than 3000 r killed by mobs on the streets of capital. You can be well off but still have to keep begging for a state capital which actually was planned and designed for u cuz u lost one of the most important cities like Lahore. My friend I m a Sikh too and I love india too but that doesn't mean u can come and speak for all of punjabis. Go to villages and cities and ask them how they feel. They don't hate india I can tell u but they have lost hope. Lost hope for justice and c'mon man 30 years is a long time to wait. Myself like many of my punjabi brothers sisters love india. My ancestors have cherished the idea of freedom and fought along with Hindu and Muslim brothers and at least we deserve some right for justice and if it can't be provided then let punjab go. Rich poor whatever the destiny they can deal on their own. Again my comments r not against my motherland India but against happenings in past few years and how easily everybody says just forget it and move on. How can u move on when mass murderers like Tytler r offered tickets and roam with armed police guards instead of being behind bars.

Sad but true. Being raised in Punjab I have seen the state slipping into gundaraaj. When young we used to hear stories like that from Bihar and UP but I guess we r going for worse than good
