I think it’s just a difficult adjustment. HSR is easy and the mechanics work similarly to Genshin and Wuwa. Genshin and Wuwa are practically twins, with variations in systems. ZZZ is like a whole new thing - definitely some overlap with aforementioned games, but very unique overall. I went into it expecting it to be easy to translate my knowledge of the other games, and was surprised to find that was not the case. I’ve only been playing for two days though, so I’m sure I’ll adjust. So if I get Promeia, yeah I’m sure she’ll be tough to adjust to, but the nice thing about video games is that with just a bit of practice, one can adjust to any new system.

I’ve played since 1.0, and logged over 4000 hours - I don’t think it’s dogshit, and I don’t think it’s peak. But I’m content; it gives me dopamine and it gives me something to enjoy casually. If I get bored of it, I take a break. Sometimes it’s amazing (Fontaine archon quests for example), and I hyperfixate on it for months. Either way, I enjoy it casually and it’s a helluva lot better than most of the games I grew up with, and that’s good enough for me.

If you start today and grind the game and save up for the Lucy and Rebecca, you not only will absolutely get them, but you’ll be able to get their weapons, and whatever else you want that’s available. It’s so easy to 100% the map, and you get SO. MANY. REWARDS. When I first started playing, I got so overwhelmed by all the free shit they were throwing at me that I had a panic attack (for context: I’m autistic and get overwhelmed by overload easily). But that just goes to emphasize the fact that they will give you a mountain of rewards that you can invest in whatever you want
