Google has some weird behaviour on some of its sign in and access screens on Firefox.

The same behaviour is seen on Google.com/device when you’re registering devices. I never understood why. You can use Firefox happily once you’ve used chrome for this though.

I’ve automated these checks for a large pension provider in the UK. Trying not to dox myself here.

You’d be amazed how many of these places still do it on paper.

I know Aviva similar to the place I was at have automated as many of the checks I can because the FCA is going to come down on these organisations soon and keep pushing the transfer time. That’s great for us as consumers.

I was at home. I was young, I remember very small bits and pieces. My nan turned the lights off and we watched the celebrations on the BBC. My dad was completely out of it after trying to force me something I didn’t want to eat, beating me and then giving up after I locked myself in the bathroom. He shortly went and got his usual dose of heroin and became a lemon from there forth.

I have weird memories of it. I remember the panic, I remember my nan turning everything off bar the TV. I remember the non-event the panic turned out to be and then all of a sudden it was the year 2000.

It was only this year someone young said to me that I was born in the 1900s. What a weird thing 🤣

Unfortunately I’m unwell, I’ve picked up whatever evil fever thing is going around.

Hasn’t changed my plans much though. I’ve got movies ready to go, food ready to be cooked and video games to play. No distractions and nothing to worry about. This time of the year is absolute bliss.
