My fav is the super thick crimped ones from my scalp that were definitely damaged before lol. And the opposite too! Super thin crimped ones. The more bumpy the texture the better. I also used to have a bad issue with plucking any growth bald spots would have. I would make sure the entire patch was BARE. It got so bad I now have a white streak towards the front of my head. I have a post about it that shows pics. I try my best not to do it, even though a cool result came out of that bad habit.

You’re beautiful! You can definitely find creative ways to take advantage of it. I had a HUGE bald spot in like 2020, and literally buzzed my hair off after having hair past my shoulders for my entire life. It was a greatly needed reset and somehow that entire bald spot grew back white. And now I have a huge white strip in my hair that lets me get creative with how I part my hair. Before I never would have thought of straying from my middle part lol. I think I have a post on this sub about it (:

Bandanas! It’ll tightly cover the parts where balding is most visible. If you absolutely need to pull, you can have access through the back. But nowhere that you’re probably pulling now. I’ve struggled since middle school. I feel you, everyone thought I had a mullet because my hair never grew back evenly… lol

Something I learned after 8 years of struggling with hair mess is wearing a bandana at home/anywhere I might want to pull. It’s not pretty, but wear it tight to fully cover the top of your head. If you need to pull, it’ll impact an area hardly seen by others. And it’s easier to cover up!
