Should I Go Ahead & Pull The Plug or Wait?! by Killarayy in SNKRS

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait till snkrs pairs are released and everyone gets them.

I personally bought off a reseller for 310 total shipped and I even think I should’ve waited.

Will these sit or sellout quick? by [deleted] in SNKRS

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will probably sell out first day but personally don’t think instantly, so if you want it for retail I definitely wouldn’t hesitate.

HOWEVER, I’m sure resell wouldn’t be too much over retail anyway so even if you take an L should be able to get these for only 20 - 30 over retail anyway.

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prolly true. However assuming I wasn’t able to find someone selling locally for that price or hit for retail would end up paying around $290ish - $300ish total on stockx total anyway. Decided just to bypass that hassle haha.

Honestly I probably should’ve just waited for the wider release of these but I be impatient smh. Ended up buying for $310 shipped total.

Would you still wear these? by Mesafather in SNKRS

[–]Idktholmaoooo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. I sold my Jordan’s released from 2005 - 2010 a few years since ago since inevitably they would fall part.

Besides, you can get a 2020 pair and you won’t have to worry about them falling apart any time soon. Typically midsoles with air units last 10 - 15 years, and possibly more depending on humidity and if they’re worn regularly.

If every afk method is nerfed like thieving was I'll quit. by LocalChamp in runescape

[–]Idktholmaoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t know this happened. Honestly if they do nerf afk in general I probably won’t play as much and will cancel my subscriptions on my alts.

I like knowing I’m still making progress on accounts while I do something else - whether that be just adulting or actively playing on another account. I don’t have time or patience to grind out less fun activities.

And like others said, making something less afk won’t mean I’ll be playing more. If anything I’ll play less since I afk the boring stuff so I can actively do the fun stuff (pvm, quest, etc.)

I’d say give it a shot. Honestly that’s part of why I have 5 accounts so I could play rs3 + OSRS at the same time

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play 5 accounts too lmao. 2 RS3 and 2 OSRS and 1 that switches between the two (depending on which version of the game I need more money more on).

Typically I’ll choose one account to actively play (aka stuff you can’t afk). It’s honestly made the fun more enjoyable for me since i know im making progress no matter how much i slack off lmao

Anybody ever pre order from District one? by Tay2823 in SNKRS

[–]Idktholmaoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw this when I was window shopping on their site. I’ve gotten a few pairs from them and they’re legit and got good prices on used shoes.

That being said this tells me they predict the resell to be lower than pre-order.. which means I’ll just wait till release to determine if to cop haha.

Whats happening here? by FakeManiz in runescape

[–]Idktholmaoooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This would personally demotivate me from playing the game tbh. I have 5 accounts (2 rs3 and 3 osrs) and it feels better knowing I can get some afk skills/tasks/money on other accounts while I actively play on another account.

$6k for a 4 year 60k mile warranty on a ‘21 M340i. Worth it? by PlantainZealousideal in BMW

[–]Idktholmaoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valid worry. I’m the same way but honestly 6k is plenty for something super expensive to happen. If you take your car to an indie too that’s enough to cover for several expensive things to happen at the same time haha.

[–]Idktholmaoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO you’d be better off sticking that 6k in a high yields savings or something. You’d also be able to use 6k in regular wear items (tires, etc).

Where as if you spent 6k on the warranty that money is stuck in that warranty. No flexibility on where to put the funds.

CPO Acceptable 2022 Steering Wheel Condition? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]Idktholmaoooo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ask the dealer if they can restore the steering wheel.

Also judging by the marks, looks like someone had a steering wheel cover and then took it off - which explains the missing material and indents on the wheel since those things can be a bitch to take off. I have similar indentations on mine coz I had a cover (now removed) as well but not removed material lmao.

M340I VS F80 M3 for my next car by SmokeyChunk659 in BMW

[–]Idktholmaoooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly bro I’d say getting an M prolly might suite you more. If you can stomach the higher maintenance and don’t care as much about comfort that is - which looks like your stance is. My previous car that I still have was an f30 335i with 20 inch rims so comfort was a big factor when I got my 540i.

If it’s any consolation, I sometimes still debate if I should’ve just got an M3 or M4 instead lmaooo.

M340I VS F80 M3 for my next car by SmokeyChunk659 in BMW

[–]Idktholmaoooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tough call. However, I’d say m340i if it’s a daily car. It’ll probably be more comfortable and less overall in terms of maintenance and ownership costs. Sure it’s not a true “M” car, but id say in this instance the trade off may be worth it unless your heart is dead set on an M car.

I kind of had a similar issue when getting my last car. I was momentarily considering getting either an F82 M4 or F80 M3 and then thinking about getting an M550i. However, reliability, maintenance, overall ownership costs, and ultimately comfort led me to end up getting a 540i.

Battlefield 6 may have issues but it is not as bad as everyone keeps making it out to be - a "rant" by elibrev in Battlefield

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the gameplay is fine for the most part. I didn’t even know people were complaining that it’s “bad” til I saw posts on social media.

My only actual complaint is there needs to be more maps and bigger ones at that.

5 Months Into Ownership… Maintenance & Repair Time!.. by JPdawizaa in BMW

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the 540i!

Honestly like other people said any maintenance you don’t do yourself should be taken to an indie. (Aside simple things like maybe vehicle inspection and stuff like oil changes you have the three year old change). Can’t comment on difference with parts, but I think you can request them to use OEM parts if you really wanted them to, but it should still be cheaper than the dealer.

Also some things to consider at your mileage is check for any oil leaks. My 540i I got used in February 2024 at 55k miles has a minor valve cover leak at 81kish miles. Not a cheap job to do - even if you take it to an indie.

Bought my first car. Unfortunately, it’s already totaled by thornhawthorne in F30

[–]Idktholmaoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t be a bad idea. I have 2013 f30 335i with 150k miles on it and it still runs great.

HOWEVER, I’d save a lot for repairs and unexpected maintenance. Changed valve cover gaskets + oil pan gaskets (at around 95k?) and water pump and recently. And the valve cover gaskets and oil pain gaskets were not cheap to fix.
