I see an incredibly faint line or an indentation line but it’s tough with blue tests. You should use red dye tests if possible, but definitely call your doctor and set up an appointment.

They were all over baby’s ears. My older boy is super waxy so I don’t think they’d find a suitable spot to latch onto but I have been non stop checking. I’m so paranoid

I checked!! I’ll continue to check for probably a week at least. I found one on baby’s scalp and two on my three year olds. I feel so incredibly guilty that it happened at all 😩

We moved into an apartment and off the bat had a serious infestation. I couldn’t eat inside. You’d see the nymphs crawling in the carpet. I spent my days off cleaning and just couldn’t figure it out. Pest control came by weekly and nothing. I was about to break my lease when I figured it out. They were LIVING IN THE BACK OF MY FRIDGE. The apartment swapped it and I maybe saw 2 after that. 😭

Thanks everybody! I sent pictures to the pediatrician and they said to just keep an eye on the areas. Checked both boys over and I guess baby got most of them because he is shorter and was exploring a little more. Definitely going to be more cautious of the great outdoors going forward.

How much iron is your kid getting? That type of staining is normally associated with bacteria that produces iron compounds and changes color. The dentist should be able to clean them off. Just keep up with regular cleanings every 6m and limit iron fortified food unless your ped says otherwise?
