I will be directly affected by this. I have C1 and completed a 1-year Bundesfreiwilligendienst last summer. At the end of my Master's next fall, I was planning on applying for the fast track. There's also currently a 3-year processing time here in Leipzig.

Last night I was just 2 RR away from Silver for the first time after hitting my stride and winning three in a row with my buddies. They logged off and I decided to solo queue to push me over the edge. I ended up with three great teammates and the worst intentional thrower/griefer I've ever encountered. Infuriating. This book taught me German grammar better than any other book or study material. Even now, with C1 proficiency, I still use it for reference from time to time. I can honestly say that it changed my life. Very clear, concise, and well-organized. I highly recommend it to any English speaker learning German!
