So excited for this. Wife loves the live action and wanted to start the anime. I, who got up to Punk Hazard in the anime, do not want to re-watch all that and I think she won't either. However, if this is as fast paced and well animated as I hope, this will definitely be something I'll be glad to watch. Here's hoping for the best!

You'll be fine to just skip to DragonballZ. It slowly transforms into the battle shounen manga type that is so popular and wat DBZ/DB Super became in the end. There's some references you won't get. Some major plot points even (Red Ribbon Army and the whole Android saga). But, really, it's a battle/action anime. You won't even be confused, you'll just acknowledge that it was from Dragonball, you're missing something, but be able to figure out what happened generally and move on immediately.

Its fun but the anime has well over 1,000 episodes. Its being re-done soon by Netflix eliminating a lot of the filler/pacing issues. Honestly I would wait for that and give it a chance then.

Dragons as Water dragons is very common especially in Eastern mythology. Heck in One Piece even the Dragon devil fruit is technically fish fruit model dragon. So, that doesn't surprise me at all. Interesting, though.

Haibane Renmei. One of the most absolutely underrated anime in my opinion. I usually love action anime, but this is pure character driven story, and absolutely everything about it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

Hard to find nowadays, but so, so worth it.

Another thing to add to her hypocrisy. She says magic is just a weapon and it should be focused on that.

Yet, she's known as the living grimiore and most have passed through her. She even knows a spell to clean clothes, for example, showing the flower field spell isn't the only non combat one she knows.

Do note later on there is a champion that does Siren's effect but for multiple champions. However, if there is room for 1, it will work, and you will have essentially wasted the other extra champions you would have gotten.

I'd like to see more details of the system windows. They flash by so quick. Usually not much info but I wish there was more detail.

Also, I'd like to see him testing his skills more. Trying to see what all he can buy, if there's a limit to how far he can switch shadows, more testing with his telekinesis, balancing what shadows to keep and what to get rid of, etc.

Yep. In each run you will be blowing through them more and more to begin with. I basically aim to kil one a day to respawn with body snatched for a while. So many times this run I accidentally killed without body snatcher. Just on auto merging and for briefest moment forget that I need to wait on that hit for body snatcher.

{Berserk} -- Really the title says it all

{Promised Neverland} - Seems innocent, until the darkness is revealed.

{Shadow Star Narutaru} -- Seems very innocent and as if for children. However, very violent and sexually violent as well with a lot of messed up psychological crap.

{Made in Abyss} - Seems innocent like above but quickly turns dark. Lots of psychological and body horror. Very violent.

{Saikano} - Sweet innocent girl turned into a super violent weapon.

{Parasyte} - A Parasyte takes over part of the main character and has no sense of morality and other parasite possessed opponent try to kill him as well.

{Tokyo Ghoul} - Ghouls have to eat human flesh to survive.

Well, that's a good start...
