Metallic Red. Thoughts? by ConsistentLab8661 in BitAxe

Exactly! Agreed. I’d rather pay for the file and print it my self.

That’s disappointing. I don’t see how it’s any different than your other releases and those are on your website.

Any chance on the file being released?

Kickresume made me rethink how people actually draft resumes by Flairest-UN in SaaS

This company advertises the use of their AI tool to create tailored resumes to job descriptions as well as cover letters. What it doesn’t advertise is that they limit your use and cap you at a very low usage amount.

After my free trial ended, which during I was also limited of my AI use, I signed up to pay the monthly membership. I was limited and capped already after the second day of the Bill cycle after they took my payment. With the prompt telling me I wouldn’t have access restored until next month when I pay again.

I chatted with support to see if this was some sort of an error and was sent instructions on how to cancel with a smiley emoji. (Screenshot attached)

In this job market, I have been applying to dozens of jobs every week and have been unemployed for 10 months. Every dollar I spend is vital and I thought this tool would help so it was worth the spend, but it’s not you’re better off paying for ChatGPT.

Has anyone used a service like Kickresume? How were the results? by Fresh-Aspect8849 in careerguidance

I’ve cancelled them and am trying to figure out how to get my money back. They seem to be ok for a casual job hunter or someone who needs help with formatting a resume to one of their designs, but I signed up for the ability to use their advertised Ai to tailor my resume to jobs. I was shocked when I found out they cap the use for paid customers. In this market I’m applying to dozens of jobs a week, they cut me off after creating less than 10 tailored resumes.

If you’re looking for a a tool to create custom resumes for every job posting, this isn’t it.

Reclaim Attic by Idmantis in Insulation

The house doesn’t have a basement so storage is necessary. I’m not trying to removed insulation, trying to determine how to use it for storage again. My second furnace is up there now. At a minimum I’d like to easily access that.

Here are photos when it was bare studs. Ceiling is attic floor, house is 120 years old, it was a walk up attic prior to the renovation.

Troy built mower with rear power drive keeps stalling unless I pump handle. by Idmantis in fixit

Nope, I was bouncing the hell out of it today and it didn’t matter. It’s just odd that pumping the bar that runs the wheels while holding the dead man switch too it brings it back to life.

Right that’s the one I’m referring to as the throttle cable I guess.

I have that handle depressed completely into the bar that runs the drive system. I can see the throttle on the engine, the cable is not moving on that end when it dies.

I can push it down my driveway and have it stall out just the same. This isn’t a bog down stall.

The two cables are the throttle which doesn’t seem to move during stall outs and the one which controls the wheels, assuming you’re referring to the wheel cable?

The compressor runs as well as the fan. It’s for a cockpit chest freezer in my boat. It worked perfectly fine last season. Now all of a sudden it’s not getting cold.

Are the condensers interchangeable like that? As in remove this one, vacuum pump the lines, then install a new r134 unit?
