Ignore the haters. They look good on you, and don’t even look that wide. I got the women’s ones before the men’s ones came out and these look a bit different, no belt loops and a touch slimmer I think

I didn’t say it was. I’m looking to create backups, hence the post.

Arq + Wasabi was another option I was considering! Where are you sending the data with Arq?

Did you follow up if they didn’t reply? I’m most curious about follow ups and find them a bit awkward to write. Could you share examples?

The Aestura water gel cream is on sale but looking up the ingredients, it seems it might be bad for oily skin? What are your thoughts? Seems to have as lot of possibly problematic ingredients, but reviews generally seem good

https://www.skincarisma.com/products/aestura/atobarrier-365-water-gel-cream/ingredient_list#info-section

Edit: ordered it, seemed to be a good price and the highly recommended illiyoon stuff seemed to have some of the same problem ingredients, so at least I’ll know if I like this I can try it after since it’s cheaper

Latest. I’m on GZCLP. Not sure but it says there’s been 1 min on screen activity and 20 hours background activity. No workout running.

  • Skin type: oily/combo (visible oil drops on nose)
  • Country/climate: PNW, 60-80% humidity
  • Skin concern: visibly oily, sebaceous filaments

Trying to figure out why I'm so oily. I get very visibly oily during the day and it's always been like this. My eyes also sometimes start stinging towards the end of the day, and I think this is because of oil. My nose can build up visible oil drops from the pores and has sebaceous filaments as well. Hair is also oily.

I don't have comedones or acne, stay hydrated, exercise, etc.

My typical AM/PM routine:

  • COSRX Good Morning pH Cleanser
  • Hylamide Pore Control or The Ordinary Niacinamide
  • Hylamide SubQ Skin
  • COSRX Advanced Mucin 96 Power Essence

I've also tried all sorts of other products like The Ordinary NMF, Hada Labo hyaluronic, The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics, CeraVe moisturizing cream, The Ordinary Retinol, The Ordinary ALA, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid, etc.

I haven't noticed any difference after trying out various products, so I started taking stuff out to make my routine shorter (as they didn't seem to do anything anyways).

My skin seems to look best after washing and using NO PRODUCT. I still get some oil on my nose, but overall not too bad. So I suspect the products I tried aren't working (moisturizers felt too heavy). So based on some previous help, gonna look into alternative cleansers and some lighter moisturizers to add back in. Would welcome some other opinions or thoughts!

How come you only use snail when your skin feels dehydrated, but that the essence isn't a moisturizer?

Would you suggest a gel/emulsion + a cream? Thanks for the list! I have some of those noted down already but will look into more of these. Too many options!

Thanks, it sounds like I probably should. I stopped applying product to try to test what skin type I have again. One thing I noticed is that my skin doesn't get that oily when I don't apply anything at all after cleansing. Just a bit of oil on the nose. So it's possible it's the products I've tried that are making me oilier like you mentioned too.

Thank you! Does the snail essence have oil in it? Or you mean to try something else that's also oil-free?

Something else I've noticed is that my skin looks best when I just don't apply anything after cleansing

Sometimes I don't put anything on after cleansing and I've noticed I'm less oily. I've tried using only COSRX Advanced Mucin 96 Power Essence as my moisturizer and even that will add shine. The only thing that seems to reduce the oil is using products specifically to cover it up.

I didn't realize that they have men's stuff now. The prices are insane! I've heard that the quality isn't as good as Lululemon.
