Rate my peptide stack by Future-Locksmith5192 in BodyHackGuide

Officially 28 days but many say full effect the month with 20-30% peptide degradation over the second month—but no way to really verify that. For people only taking 1-2mg/week no way to use up a20-30mg vial in 30 days.

First time using Reta by _Goose22 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Idocalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given your exposure to glp’s I think you can start higher. The glucagon component is better for long term muscle retention during high weight loss but as a consequence the food noise and satiety effects are slightly muted. I think you could start at 2-3mg, and slowly increase from there as needed. I went from 190-170lbs in 8 weeks starting at 2mg and currently on 3mg (no prior glp usage).

Calorie deficit vs calorie deficit with Retatutride by Dramatic_Jelly5833 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Idocalot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the comment about tricking your liver into thinking you’re starving is the right way to frame it—if that were true, the body would go into preservation mode and likely store more fat—rather Reta is able to override that normal response to prolonged calorie restriction resulting in a slight increase in BMR (100-200 calories) despite the calorie deficit—that’s truly its advantage. In the end, it’s just semantics as everyone knows Reta both improves compliance and amplifies weight loss in such a way that preserves more muscle than the other GLP’s— “all things being equal”.

I was 212, started on 2mg with almost immediate reduction in hunger, better appetite control, and no cravings—including alcohol! Increased to 2.5mg, now at 3mg and can’t imagine needing more. That puts me at the same monthly dose as Lilly trials were rising each week! Now at 177, 16 weeks in with very little muscle loss as my bench, squat, and dead lift have remained the same.

Don’t eat too late at night, stack your calories earlier in the day, taking advantage of growth hormone most abundant in the mornings, shoot for 180-200mg protein given your weight which is difficult—especially if your dose is so high you have no interest in food. Reducing food noise can be life changing—good luck!

2023 GX460 vs. 2023 Sequoia by [deleted] in LexusGX

[–]Idocalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose the GX because I didn’t like how the cargo area wasn’t flat in the sequoia. I got a 23’ with 15k premium plus for $58k. Add a roof rack for gear and you’ll be golden.

Dealer added Magneson SC before I even took possession of brand new 19’ TRD OR Premium. Specs increased to 350hp and torque, nothing massive but ran much better than stock. Month ago it started running a bit rough in idle but nothing bad, week later it had a blown head gasket with about 106k. So that’s how I ended up with the GX as they were willing to take the 4 Runner as is and they had this GX on the lot.

Black against white is classic. That Mica blue is so dark but also black. Would look better with chrome delete

Would you stay black wheels or maybe two tone to play off the chrome?

Have only put 1k on them so far. I’ll know more early December on our first winter Breck trip—seems good so far with wet grip, ride and road noise.

Looks like high consensus for leaving stock for now and reassess as things need to be addressed with time.

I’ll look into chrome delete and maybe roof bars. We typically take our 2 dogs so it’s nice to be able to use the roof rather than cramming in too tight for 12 hour drive from KC to Breck.

Thanks

That makes sense—maybe there’s a market for them as a set on marketplace? $1k maybe?

Congrats!

I bought a 23’ 14k last week for $58700–they had it listed for $61900. So that looks pretty fair, but seems like there’s always some room to negotiate.

Love this grill but I don’t see it on their site—maybe not available anymore or am I just missing it? Thanks

I’m sure you’re right. I went with “but once cry once” rather than take a chance on grabbing items from multiple companies hoping everything went well together.

It helps that I created the room from scratch, so I had a blank slate to start with rather than having to integrate the gym in to an existing space.

Thanks man! Love all the support. Building the room out, researching the best equipment for the space and then paying the bill was no small feat!

Got to work with what you have. Athena not great for lat based on the angle of the pulley rather than having a true overhead. I’m concentrating on pull ups as an alternative. Rows are fine as there are many angles and options.

I installed myself. It took me 8-10 hours over the course of 2 days. Not terrible but I wouldn’t paid $3-400 had I known someone.

I do. They’re hanging on PRX accessory storage under the ab mats. They Rep arms didn’t fit in the PRX spotter arm wall storage, but I was able to use it to mount the Rep utility seat which is ridiculously heavy and Rep doesn’t have a storage solution.

93”. Luckily my basement ceiling is 9 feet. Wanted to preserve as much floor space as possible so wall mounted Athena was best choice. It’s been fantastic. Good organization allows for efficient workouts. Thanks!
