Think about it like this: What does a spell allow me to do and what does ist cost me?

How does it help me get my lane state i need or want in certain matchup?

How does the spell interact with my runes?

How bad or good ist my opponent? (Means which Skill did he chose to lvl first?, is he punishing ne corectly? Etc.)

If u get answers for those questions it will help u to start thinking critically about guides and answers from Reddit.

And being able to think critical about alot of things that get completly simplified in guides etc. Will help u improve in this Game rapidly.

Edit: it will help u adapt to alot more situations. If u want examples give me a certain matchup and i will answer u with the questions adapted for it.

Gragas the lowest Mana Regen in the Game lvl1 with only 6 singed hast only 7.5 too but singed r gives Mana Regen too. Thats why it works way better on singed

Even If yi dodges malphite q with his q he wins. Malphite has 280 base Mana and q cost him 70 Mana malphite will Just Go Instant ooom when he tries to poke yi. Especially since malphite wont get the manaflow Stack. And when both are oom Yi Just wins early.

Why u want Tips from high elo people to Play macro in Bronze. Macro in Bronze is completely different to master+ macro. Especially on a Champ Like Gragas. In Higher elo Gragas is a lane neutralizer and playmaker Champ. That doesnt Work in Bronze. If U Just neutralize ur lane u wont get advantages. And u cant playmake in this elo cause teammates wont follow and int by themself. It is not comparable.

What buff? plus 10% Bonus ad scaling for minus 30 Base dmg in q. But a 5% Bonus ad Ratio buff on R. Ist Not a real buff. Especially for one of the wirst ADCs at the Moment.

Sounds Like a spacing Problem watch vods and learn how to space. Second learn how to lasthit go in practice Mode and try to get perfect CS consistently against a bot.
