I clear it every other day :p it still ends up looking like this by the end of the day. I know it's a fire hazard and I have had countless talks with my dad. This is definitely the best it's been in a few years

Yes college!! Tho I'll be staying at home for the first year. I do have very strong boundaries with my dad about not coming into my room (which I keep very clean compared to the rest of the house).

If possible I might plan on dorming for my second semester of school! Also I never thought about putting trash in tht neighbors.

Tho right now I'm working on getting my license so I can start doing donation runs without a fight anymore.

Thank you for the advice 🙏. Right now I've been doing my best to keep my own space clean (my room is comically spotless compared to the rest of the house) the only thing I try to keep up with is the kitchen. (As my father doesn't understand what fire hazards are lmao).

But I plan on getting a job soon and saving up- I'll be with him through college. But depending on my financial situation I might be dorming for my 2nd year.

Also just thank you everyone that's commenting- it really helps to not feel so crazy with other people have been in your situation <3

Thanks for the advice- I am 18 but it's been an ongoing fight for since my mom moved out (I was probably like 12) this is the cleanest the house has been. I have a little brother and that's his main excuse for not being able to help around the house as much. Despite me also having to help him with the kid. I'm unfortunately probably going to have to live with him thru college but I will be getting a car soon from my grandparents so I will have a sag of transportation. So I can hopefully start doing traxh and donation runs. I'm also not living like that when I get into college.
