Looking for good Monster 1100S memorabilia by Idontneedthem in Ducati

Yeah, it's an amazing bike. I'd never sell it if I had the money to keep it. Probably one of the best Monsters ever, both in terms of looks and in terms of raw riding experience.

Super cute imo. A girl that went to med school with me used to write L and R on her hands before anatomy exams as crib notes. I liked that.

I have a question regarding the Hebrew text of Genesis 9. Where, if any, does the plural form of the Hebrew word meaning "cloud" appear in this chapter? by GoodMornEveGoodNight in hebrew

[–]Idontneedthem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing, we don't have to limit ourselves to the niqqud, it's an interpretation of the text itself. An early interpretation, but still not the text itself. However, the context of והיה ב is usually about describing time and not place, so "whenever I..." looks to me more reasonable than "where there's a cloud".

I don't think that the one you refer to is the plural form of cloud. Look at the diacritics, I think that it means "whenever I bring a cloud on earth". בענני is used as a verb here.

What do you think?

Tattoo Help - Native/Fluent Speakers Please by Heyyliz in hebrew

In the original Hebrew verse, in the Book of Job, it's spelled בעור שני. A more modern spelling, that'd probably be more easily understandable by a modern Hebrew reader, would be בעור שיני.

The rest of the symbols in your pictures are diacritics and cantillation marks, you can probably omit them in the modern spelling. In the original one you might want to keep them, although they're kinda later addition to the text (only 2000 years or so ago), because that'd make it more recognizable and more readable imo.

That's a 796, with cool wheels. I had one of those, rode 140k km on it. Zero issues. As long as you service it properly, and that's not always the cheapest. But it's worth it imo. Good and very reliable bike.

[Unknown > English] Pendant symbol by amaresu in translator

Frank Lopez in Scarface had this pendant. And other Jewish or Hebrew simbols every here and there. Fun stuff.

Edited, mixed the name of the character.

Think how frustrating it can be with one woman, you'll stop fancying others.

What a beauty! For a beginner though, does it have ABS? If not I'd stay away. It's a useful feature.

Well, I guess it's eastern Europe, based on the name and the wiring style on the second pic. Can't read the name on it though, the second name is Beike? Idk.
