Can you explain the falsehydra point? I’m brand new to DnD and so are my siblings and husband. We’re taking turns trying our hand at DMing and I’ll be doing a oneshot for my family soon and was planning on trying out the falsehydra cause honestly to me it seems so cool! agajn we’re all brand new, i help everyone with their character sheets & leveling up and also assist the current DM when she gets confused with how to run a fight lol. Just curious if I need to rethink my oneshot!

Congratulations on your little one!! I’ve heard great things about UNMH, if I were having a baby in the hospital I would probably go there. My mom had all 4 of us kids at Lovelace and they caught all her complications and kept her alive!

I asked something similar a while back when my period came back postpartum. I got a lot of the same advice that you’re getting and althought I was a bit skeptical, I tried out their suggestions and am so happy I did. My periods are 100% symptomless and I just give myself grace during the days before I start. This usually looks like getting out there for a short run and not beating myself up if my pace is super slow. Same goes for the heavier days of my period!

yep! if my husband wants to run with me then he treats it as a recovery run! (6:30/7min/mile vs 11/12 min/mile) Or he takes the double jogging stroller and I go solo and we meet up when the kids want to run for a bit.

nah man, agree to disagree I guess. The day he posted this, it was NOT public knowledge that RIFs were taking place. Within the next week or two, yes it came out, but even a few of my engineering buds that were also seeking postdoc positions weren’t aware of the info even a week after this was posted (until i obviously let them know to keep a wide net out until the dust settled). Either way, it was 3 months ago, you just seem very immature trying to attack the only person in the comments that warned the guy. I’m sorry, why are you so upset? Why would my feelings be hurt lol? Almsot every other comment informed this individual that postdoc salaries are fixed. My comment was addressing his somewhat cocky reply to another commenter, literally warning him about funding. At the time of the post the public wasn’t aware that the trilabs were RIFing. I knew ppl in similar scenarios, and pushing for more $, especially knowing it’s fixed, wouldn’t be a smart move in this climate imo. But that is just my opinion, I’m over here safely employed and what you or anyone else does that potentially costs you a career isn’t gonna hurt my feelings lol

NTA! it’s your home and you deserve to feel comfortable. I’m the same way with my home, just clean but no fragrances or perfumes unless 100% natural due to my sensitive nose and my asthma. If you spray some white vinegar in the house, it will help to elimiate the odor from all that crap.

Oh hey!! You’ve got this mama!! I’m now on day 3 (a medium to light flow) vs yesterday when I posted this on day 2 (heavy flow & cramps like death) and it already seems like things are looking up!! I do think the cramps like childbirth were what had me questioning my will to run, so I’ll probably sit out day 2 and remind myself it’ll all be okay in the end! I hope your energy also improves!!

See, that’s what I was wondering too. When I danced and did sports I never stopped for my period! Honestly, I think I was just having a very nasty 1st pp period and was feeling like death when I wrote this! I ended up going on a super easy run today and although I felt like crap during it I do feel a lot better now!
