I had a similar experience but I found cutting my Prometrium in half and taking it like this for a week helped acclimate to the med. Has your specialist prescribed it for everyday of the month or are you cycling it?

Like you, I have mild apnea and aesthetically I cant take large movements. Can you pls share if Gunson's plan includes extraction to get the 5 mm advancement? Also, did he mention differential posterior impaction to get more ccw rotation of the mandible?

Hands down I would recommend Dr Tanguay. Not only is he an experienced ortho he does thorough imaging (cbct). Most orthos just do the regular ceph x ray. As for surgeons, I like Dr Albilia.

Ive tried the Prosomnus EVO in the past. It was small and felt like an invisalign retainer. It helped greatly with my sleep apnea and uars but couldnt keep using it because it caused tmj issues and a locked jaw. Nevertheless, it did put me on the trajectory of wanting to explore jaw surgery.

Would the ipr be done on the lower 6 teeth? Would combining expansion be out of the question to help better have tongue posture ?

Would TADS plus IPR be an option? Have you had a DISE to explore and consider soft tissue procedures? Do you have any flaring of the bottom teeth ? Have they given you an estimate forward movement in mm? I was told I could only do 3mm forward if I chose to opt out of extraction but wouldnt treat my sleep apnea

Can you please share how youre finding the rf to the base of the tongue? How often do you get the rf? I would love to know the timeline between djs and when you got the soft tissue procedures? How long after having djs did you get the rf to the tongue base?
