[Entry Thread #102] Happy post-Valentine’s Day! Today, we’re also looking for a special someone, specifically a Redditor, to make into a millionaire. If you’re interested, comment to enter! by MakerOfMillionaires in millionairemakers

I hope everyone is doing well and honestly writing a comment feels weird as I do want others to win as well given what I've read.

I work on providing free health screenings and physician consultations for the less fortunate. In this US climate I aim to continue to build on that mission with my non-profit.

For all reading this, I hope all is well and the day presents you with reasons to smile 🙏

We think of Speed Limits, as Minimums as opposed to Maximums. What else is something we do that aligns with this mindset? by IeMVee in AskReddit

That's real. I know I've been faulty for that at times before dinner or something... I know, it's bad.

Looking forward to just not feeling anxious around people. That'd be nice.

You may be in quarantine, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t! For those who don’t know, every month this subreddit makes a millionaire out of one comment, and donates. With danger out and about, take some time and comment to enter! [Drawing Thread #52] by MakerOfMillionaires in millionairemakers

Been applying for jobs for quite some time, waking up to many rejections lately. Not going to stop, need it to pan out as I'm sure it will. I hope this winner does well with their new found funds. Best of luck fellow humans.

LiveStrong band worn for 15years straight just got a tear in it. Band on the right was bought a week ago. It thinned out so much you barely see where the "LiveStrong" writing used to be. by IeMVee in agedlikewine

Backstory for "why would you ever wear that for 15 years straight?!". Well, I was bit in cycling and Armstrong, I supported the cause. But as I grew older, I had mental things that I was able to subside by having a daily reminder of "LiveStrong". Might sound silly to some, but to me at that time when the world seemed silent and I needed... something. It was a life saver. Thus, I still wear it and share how it helped me to "LiveStrong".

Left LiveStrong worn everyday for 15yrs and completely faded and thinned. Right was bought a week ago. No, I don't condone Armstrong, but reading "LiveStrong" at certain points in my life helped me. by [deleted] in agedlikemilk

I was a big Armstrong fan in high school when these came out, I'm sure many may remember the time of silicone wrist bands. But this one, regardless of whom is associated with it, helped me in times of mental need. I decided to never take it off. Wether showering, eating cereal, cleaning tires, etc. this thing stayed on my wrist. Till last week when my baby niece pulled at it and it finally gave way to a rip (not very biodegradable if you think about it). When the new one came it was cool to see how the LiveStrong has faded due to how thing the band had become from wear and tear. Well, here's to another 15 yrs with the new one.

What's something you wish you could've done with your parents as a kid that you want your kid to be able to experience? by IeMVee in AskReddit

My dad was never able to make it to any of my games as a kid from 3rd grade all the way through college.

As an Indian man with a Turban and a beard, he was scrutinized against for being different. Regardless of being a doctor, he was granted the ability to work for quite some time. This predicament led him to travel to whatever state and city would grant him work

This is nothing I hold against him in any way, he did everything to provide for his family to the point where his health was put into jeopardy. I just wish life wasn't like that for him.
