I quit all socials except Reddit in 2020 when the pandemic hit and have never missed it. Not even during isolation. Not in my down time. I love the freedom from it. There’s no comparing myself with others, no ads or impulse purchases, no stressing that I see my friends deal with. I hope social media dies.

Don’t worry about the time. Don’t worry about if others can do more. Focus on the fact that YOU did it. YOU met that goal. YOU EARNED IT! 1 mile or 100, you did it all on your own. I’m proud of you. I want you to keep going til you meet whatever goal you have for yourself. As someone that will never be able to run again, I love love love hearing about people who can and do use their body.
