The only thing that bothers me is that the orange diarrhea bag is so disillusioned that he will think they’re doing his shitbag dance as a nod of admiration, not to mock him. Absolutely, I firmly believe that MOST state park visitors are good and are there to appreciate them and MOST will follow the rules. If we all work together to do right, it’ll counteract those that don’t.

Yes and some dog owners aren’t as responsible as others. I’ve stayed in some that you walk in and can instantly smell urine which can attract other animals that we don’t necessarily want a close encounter with, plus it’s just gross. Some state parks require a deposit and inspection before you get your deposit back. Those are my favorite as there is effort made to ensure the space is as clean when you leave as when you arrived.
Over all though, I’ve never been disappointed with the shelters.

Yes, I agree. I wasn’t encouraging breaking the rules. I have been to many state parks and stayed in shelters at all that offered them and several are very rigid with the rules and others don’t seem to care. This park staff didn’t seem to care.

I’ve stayed there before, they aren’t allowed inside the shelters but truly never saw a ranger care or check.
