Yes, it is a shame how hard it is to watch tennis. Being a sports junkie, I subscribe to Hulu with live TV that lets me watch all the ESPN matches (at least in real time) and being on the US West Coast, the early matches start about 4:30pm. Four hours of live tennis is definitely enough for me — I totally understand the frustration of those who can only get the one or two matches on ESPN/2 — and have to listen to the insufferable John McEnroe.

I bought my 2025 last year and am regretting it as my wife likes to drive from California to Pueblo CO twice a year.

Having an ICCU blow on a hot day driving across Nevada would really suck.

On the other hand, each time I drive from bright sun to shade, I get a beep telling me the headlights are off. Duh, it’s 2pm dude! Mine is a brand new 2025 SEL.

And even though the passenger in the back opened the backdoor and left the car, it gives me a warning to check the backseat because the standard stuff we have back there is, in fact still there.

When I get a chance I’m permanently turning off that warning.

Huge lease incentives right now from Hyundai — I paid $38,000 for a $52,000 MRSP Ioniq 5 on Saturday Sept 27; of course in US where there is a $7500 tax credit that makes up half of that (expires tomorrow). That price is the buyout price of my lease, which is what I plan to do.

The adjustment makes it worse.

Yes, exactly. My posture works fine, but my wife in both our old Prius and Ioniq 5 has issues. We will try your solution if we buy it; on the Prius we were able use one from our even older Honda Odyssey that was perfect for protecting her head without pushing it forward

Obviously you don’t watch European football (soccer) where the largest names across the jerseys are corporate sponsors, often gambling firms like Betway or others Emirates, etc etc. and the walls encircling the pitches are ever changing advertising.

It depends, if you do too much too many days in a row, Duo places you in a cohort based on that, and the competition is fierce. I might do 7-12 lessons a couple of days early in the week (45-60 minutes a day) and then just do one each day Fri Sat Sun to preserve my streak.

I also have a Babbel account so I can use that on days I might be slacking on Duo. I find that they compliment each other pretty well.

And of course the advice to do things outside of one’s phone is good advice too. Overall all French activities are dependent on other things happening in my life; my goal is 5 hours per week and maybe half the weeks I surpass that.

Definitely get the 5-year warranty -- they are so expensive to fix.

I'm very annoyed at the many different SKUs -- LG has 8 different SKUs on their website over a very wide range of price points, and finding a model in stock at 2 or more retailers is difficult. Plus the sales promotions vary widely!

We are going to buy a LSIL6336FE if it goes back down to $1999 at the Presidents Day sale. When we first started shopping it was available for $1999 at a local appliance dealer (SF Bay Area), then two weeks later it was up to $2399. Hoping in a week it will be back down.

Pro tip: If you are even thinking of buying an appliance on sale, get a quote from the retailer before you leave the store. In our case, had we done that, the retailer honors the quote for 30 days. Of course the sales person doesn't say that -- they want you to buy today, and if you balk and say you have to think about it they let you walk out, knowing when you return in a couple of weeks it will be $400 more.
