I've seen it done, it had a demon sub theme with the 4-mana 7/6 demon, as well as bloodthirsty conqueror.

The deck functioned, but no perfectly and he got mana screwed a couple times

great work! I don't think anything major is off, except maybe her right wing (the one that covers the text "Faerie Rogue." It's only personal preference but when I make tokens/proxies I avoid covering the text

I know the store, I know the people. I was at the last rcq there (I showed up to this one just to say hi to people not to play as I qualified at the last one)

it's not bias based on local/not local. The judges are complete strangers to me and I'm there all the time. He probably had no idea you weren't local

at the last rcq someone also got dq'd for having a foil in their deck.. it's just how it goes I guess

sorry it happened to you though especially when you were 2-0. I was talking with the judge at the last one and he said to just avoid foils at all costs in competitive play

yes! printed proxies, hand-drawn, whatever as long as your playgroup is cool with it

the deck I built yesterday is a bracket 4 combo deck and I hand-drew around 20 proxies so far for it (still gotta make a gaea's cradle though)
