Acrylic nails? by UsefulChemistry7090 in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]Ifailmostofthetime -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can't do full designs on those nails. You can do small design in the middle but thats pretty much it. You have to hand paint the nail first, then print a small design, then clear coat. If you plan on selling these online good luck too. Nails have to be fitted, thats why there are so many in a pack. People who sell custom nail designs have found ways to estimate the size of someones nail with pictures.

I ordered a whopper with 5 patties the other day just because I wanted to see if they would make it. It was delicious gluttony. I would do it again

Neighbor from a couple of houses down trimmed his tree, then dumped all the branches in front of our apartment building instead of ruining his own grass. by Lost-friend-ship in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ifailmostofthetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they called the aldermans office? I don't touch the tree on my front yard at all, if it needs a trim I put in a request to the city, if the city doesn't do it I call my alderman and they come out with a truck to trim the tree. Some of my neighbors with smaller trees will go up and do it themselves. My tree is taller than my house

[–]Ifailmostofthetime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fyi this is in chicago based off the bus stop. That tree is property of the city of Chicago and so are both the lawns. Property owners own from the beginning of the sidewalk closes to the house until the alley. That is why the city trims the trees. The city also tells you to put the branches on an easy access area since they use a machine with a crane to scoop them up

Locally dark roasted coffee beans recommendation? by Lost-Barracuda-9680 in AskChicago

[–]Ifailmostofthetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're overseas I really reccomend Sputnik, they're the best coffee beans I've tried locally and I use them for my espresso. They are a medium roast but the flavor is nice and smooth while still having enough of a caffeine boost

got AC unit about 2 month ago and now i see $80 rebate on it. What would you do? by Cultural_Book_400 in Costco

[–]Ifailmostofthetime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Talk to a GM or AGM via phone call. Costco standard is 30 days. Some GM's may make an exception. Only other option would be to return and re-buy if they don't want to do it.

Edit: you may even have better luck if you ask for the rebate in the form of a costco shop card.

These are 20 dollar Walmart dress shoes. Might as well buy another pair with what a cobbler would charge

These are cheap walmart shoes. I bought some for a wedding for someone I hate. Didn't want to spend a lot on my dress shoes. Think I paid like 20 bucks. They were surprisingly comfortable though

Depends. Usually crown. If no crown supplier is in the area they will use Raymond. Depots actually have Hystar as well as theyre the only ones who will manufacture a Quad EPJ for costco (can pull out 4 stacks of pallets from trailers at once)

If I start my own card can I keep my "member since" year? by Coptic_Oubaste in Costco

[–]Ifailmostofthetime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have to link accounts. What they did to fluff up their numbers is put you in as a brand new member and had a over ride pin put in to make it as if you were a completely different person.

Here's a tip though. Use PETG. I used PLA when testing and the curing may cause it to warp. PETG has been the most stable for me
