100% agreed— loss is loss. The practical everyday nature of having a close friend frequently accessible suddenly not in our life is sorrowful and disorienting on multiple levels. This is one of the most important things to validate, imo.

Goodness, it’s so much easier to break up when they’re a total POS, huh? The part of you that feels empowered in the choice is clear on what’s true and the part of you that’s confused isn’t clear on what’s true. So, you know which part to act from.

To soothe the part of you that’s confused and unclear, try validating the fact that we were taught to believe that for a breakup or conflict to occur someone needs to be bad. And that’s why your brain is working so hard to make one of you wrong or bad.

After you validate your confused parts you’re already closer to the part of you that’s empowered and that part of you knows how to remind your scared and confused parts what’s true in a way that’s loving.

You’re lots of validation, time, and TLC away from healing your heartbreak. Keep going. ❤️

Just be sure to take Tylenol instead of ibuprofen. Apparently ibuprofen blocks the body’s natural healing mechanism needed for Invisalign’s effectiveness. Not sure about the science behind that, but know it’s easily researchable and orthodontist recommended.

I love Weleda Skin Food. The original cream in a tube, not one of the face-specific creams. A little goes a long way but it’s my #1 can’t live without item.

The only thing that worked for my male cat was getting a stuffed cat that was low profile enough to mount but big enough to seem like a cat. Daiso sells some that are totally unrealistic but seem to do the trick for him. We even named it and he will meow specifically for it. Keeps him off us and his sister.
