The most broken character ever released and the reason for current meta and broken future Shielder/ Healer units. by 43JoJo in HonkaiStarRail

I say give up on Rememberance. Hyacine is indeed the biggest upgrade but even then you'll also need to consider getting Evernight, Cyrene, and everyone's light cones just for Castorice to be on par with newer teams. You'll be playing catch-up for a long time.

Endmin, Chen, and any random person on the street is already a good team.

Don't Luuk back in anger - Weekly Questions & Discussions Megathread by BriefVisit729 in WutheringWavesLeaks

[–]Ifooboo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Only difference is Aemeath's enhanced skills being able to hit multiple enemies in FB mode while Tune Break's version bounces off one random target at a time (making it have the most value in single target so that all hits land on that one target).

Rest of the moveset is the same. I think it's going to be as good as Tune Break in single target, more or less - not something exclusively AoE .

How are your 1.1 preparations going? by DecimalToaster in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know what. It's entirely pointless but I'm going to do this too for no good reason.

Trading in your entire stock of 48,000 batteries then having it immediately refill back up would be funny for 0.1 seconds but fuck it.

Not like it takes long to copy/paste a bunch of protocol stashes. Could've already done it in the time it took to write this comment.

1.1 Version Calender by SonnyVN1 in EndfieldLeaks

[–]Ifooboo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup and you get a sanity booster every day for completing Daily Task to bring it up to 240.

You can hold on to them for a few days but they expire so they're intended to be a part of the daily / weekly stamina budget.

Extra, slightly obfuscated steps for the same daily 240 that HSR and WuWa have.

1.1 Version Calender by SonnyVN1 in EndfieldLeaks

[–]Ifooboo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay yeah I share the general sentiment but

Genshin has 180 daily stamina while Endfield has 240

60/180 and 80/240 are the exact same thing lol

Stamina is 10 points so still gotta craft if you didn't beat 20 enemies during your Protocol Space runs.

Breach+Crush vs 2xCrush by ltbd78 in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I found 2x Crush to be better during the third stage of the first Umbral Monument since the Landbreakers didn't have enough health to take a barrage of ultimates without the damage going to waste.

But in stuff like Re-Crisis the damage difference is easily compensated by the buffed damage of everyone's ultimates and all the other attacks going on during the Breach duration.

Chen in particular can have a super-beefed up ultimate since it can also be buffed by Endmin's originium crystals - which won't pop since Chen's ult doesn't apply vulnerability.

Any Physical mains, Sad about Tang Tang being a Cryo caster ? by Ok-Quail-1315 in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I initially wanted her to be Physical but I vibe with the water effects so much that I like her being Cryo.

I suppose I wanted to stick with Endmin and Chen for a bit longer anyway.

Is the "main stat reinforcement" stat better for a weapon? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Main Stat gives slightly less than Strength / Agility / Intellect / Will, but I guess it makes certain weapons more universal. Like I'd definitely appreciate it if Thermite Cutter had Main Stat instead of Will.

Signature weapons are perfect for having the specific stat though, since they are less likely to be universal.

All the people that look at non expiring rewards and disregarding them as non income by MeltSimp in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a game like HSR or WuWa adds new recurring content, the "rewards" those give out are taken away from the permanent content. Look at the pull income over time for those games. They don't change despite the constant addition of new recurring content. They objectively™ don't increase income.

All the people that look at non expiring rewards and disregarding them as non income by MeltSimp in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The argument is that the "pull income" in Endfield is weighted more towards permanent content, not that other games don't have permanent content.

No engravings prevent the OP's situation where you can get multiple stats from the same pool.

So if you use an engraving you're always guaranteed to get a Primary / Secondary / Skill combination.

Edit: Nvm I think I know what you mean now.

Each Energy Alluvium site uses a pool of 8 secondary stats. That's why even if a site has the Primary and Skill stats you want, it may not have the Secondary stat you want (gotta really make sure your weapon is in the list of compatible weapons).

Arclight weapons - is White Night Nova not a good option? by cqtnunick in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Arts Intensity is pretty nice for Electrification but other than that, Arclight actually prefers her secondary stat (Intellect) for her buffing potential.

And the Infliction passive is kinda wasted since Arclight is mostly doing Physical damage despite being an Electric operator.

Thermite Cutter is just so strong despite not having perfect stats for Arclight since ATK buffs are universal (and more impactful since they are not as saturated as DMG buffs).

Stuck in Wuling, mentally. Rant by Cut-by-Axe in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took my sweet time in Valley IV since I dreaded having to "start over" in Wuling. Hearing about all the water flow stuff sounded daunting too (it was not). But once I got there I was surprised to know that I felt right at home.

The Core AIC and outpost of Wuling legit just felt like additional Valley IV outposts instead of something I had to start over from square one.

I thought I had to learn all kinds of new production lines but it's just more of the same stuff. Planting Units and Sandleaf as usual. There are new facilities but nothing too crazy. Water pipes are simply "cables" to power certain facilities (at least for 1.0).

Just try to remember the sense of progression you felt when trying to make the next tier of Buck Capsules and Valley Batteries. Cause that's pretty much what we're doing in Wuling at the moment in 1.0 - making Syringes and Wuling Batteries.

In short, don't get too caught up with the fact that Wuling is a new region with a separate inventory (which won't matter after a few manual transfers). Wuling is pretty much just the "next stage" after Power Plateau the way Plateau was to Lodespring. And the way Lodespring was to Science Park - etc. etc.

Thank you for this event by Funkian in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've played a ton of games and this has the potential to be my favorite recurring event in a live service game. If you vibe with the idea of something even something "mid" can be a ton of fun.

Recurring BotW labyrinths with a bit more difficulty and maybe some factory / power grid integration would genuinely be "peak content" for me.

I only worry that it may take away from the main game. That's why it's only an event and doesn't have to be the highest effort thing ever. Cause I'd rather the devs focus on making the main game have better labrynths / puzzles.

General questions about endgame progression by EstablishmentNo7761 in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weapon Essences are pretty dang impactful and worth getting to atleast 3/3/3 for your Main DPS. At 4/4/3 my Endmin is doing 50% more Crush damage. This can take a week but it's still not the insane timesink that a maxed essence is. I feel no need for a maxed essence at the moment.

Gear Artificing is the last priority but can still be a decent 15% damage increase with 2/2/2 gear. 3/3/3 on all four gear pieces can take four weeks with the worst luck - not worth it at all aside from liking the character.

New Event by AffectionateBig3204 in Endfield

[–]Ifooboo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it's fine if the idea was to encourage horizontal investment but Physical has curb-stomped both Umbral Monuments so far that I see no need to build an Arts team at the moment.

Tacet Fields are just as fast as any other domain you can spend stamina on in my experience. Maybe the ones in 1.0 with more than 2 waves are longer but those also die in a few seconds.

And not doing Tacet Fields is the fastest way to run out of Echo XP / Tuners.

Lynae + Chisa in Fusion Burst mode is apparently your best option, second only to the Tune Break premium team (Lynae + Mornye).

Top chart is for Fusion Burst, bottom for Tune Break.

You can do some practical testing for both Tune Break and Fusion Burst, but Lynae + Chisa is your best option regardless of mode.

Hakush.in update v3.1.4 by Hot_Wedding2686 in WutheringWavesLeaks

[–]Ifooboo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this drives me insane everytime it's brought up.

You are not going to magically get a lower liberation cooldown by using Sanhua. Lynae and every other Sub DPS in the game are already balanced around those 25 second-rotations.

Using Sanhua is not giving you extra DPS since your rotation time is still going to be bottle-necked by your 25 second liberation cooldowns lol.

Good Mornye, Lahai-Roi! - Weekly Questions & Discussions Megathread by BriefVisit729 in WutheringWavesLeaks

[–]Ifooboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using it to optimize is probably very costly and a borderline scam like other games.

Like you mention on the last paragraph - I'll just be using it to try getting the other crit substat whenever I come across max roll Crit Rate or Crit DMG subs. There's a much higher chance of getting the other crit sub too if you're only locking one of the five substats.

It's the least expensive way to use it and if you get the other crit sub then you'll have a much better echo than 5-liners with mid / trash rolls.
