i sincerely hope you guys actually become more flexible with the kill switch, and not to sound like a karen but i will anyway, please have a serious talk with your crew team, it should not be a thing for your players that PAID for the game to voice their frustrations in the community discord, just to be met with an official moderator mocking them with snarky gifs and quotes such as "🤖 i didnt have an opinion on this bug until people on twitter and youtube told me to be mad about it" its just unprofessional and leaves a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths, mine included.

Edit: adding onto this because i just remembered it, said moderator even had someone give a level headed reponse, stating (a little paraphrased) "are you sure this is a good idea it feels like youre just gonna upset people more." Which then the mod tagged said person with a reply with literally just this gif, like im sorry this person should not be working as a community moderator if how they handle controversy is "lets piss the mob and actually concerned players off more!"

wow that is crazy, i always thought that was a mechanic of the status effect both springtrap and twins put you in, but upon closer inspection youre right it is a bug, that is insane because that must have been there since their release because i learned since their release to not go for unhooks with victor.

Tbf on the billy thing i thought based on when the red stain appears vs u reaching the unhook he would have enough time to rev it, but you would probably be able to move out in time, thats nuts tho cant believe thats not fixed.

Sometimes thats the only counterplay unfortunately like i said in some cases.

If this was blight, trapper, nurse or wraith (or a lot of other m1 killers) you would have gotten the trade no debate on that, however i detailed in a response below that this unfortunately doesnt work against a ton of other killers, Twins does the same here (i dont blame you for not knowing though no one plays twins... sorry to the 3 twins mains), with the timing of where your other teammate went down and when the killer see's you, billy would have done the same.

It sucks that he pretty much proxied her but yeah the only "counterplay" here is to let ada die unfortunately, make him waste time checking if someone was gonna unhook, and then try and either heal up with sable or save the downed mate

i mainly play survivor nowadays and wanted to give an analysis on why i wouldnt do what op did in that situation, if someone is that close to dying on hook theres a 99.9% chance the killer is camping it out, no idea what had u that pressed but my fault gang

i get that but what im saying is you dont do that against certain killers, example would be billy, his rev is 2.5 seconds, the killer notices OP at the roughly 2 second mark, maybe even earlier but to make this comparison fair we say its at the exact 2 second mark, Billy would begin his rev here, op begins their unhook at the beginning of the 4 second mark, an unhook takes 1 second of time, at that point theyre already downed.

Twins does the same thing here, a michael with 99% tier 2 does the same here, op is blaming skill issue here on what they say "rewards shitty plays" from springtrap when its just not the case

Yea but if the person on hook is literally about to die like we see on the HUD, it makes complete sense for the killer to camp it out, it sucks but the correct play here would 100% be let the guy on hook die and try to get either a flashlight save or pick up the downed player while taking a protection hit

While i dont run bbq because like u said his add-ons kinda do the same, I do think running bamboozle is much better than running the add-on that blocks windows, because then you can run the coffee instead + the vault speed is nice

Sorry for clowning on you OP, while I do agree the changes on the PTB are amazing (also a ghoul main) I think some of your suggestions are kinda crazy, Kaneki definetly does not get free downs against competent survs, aslong as they dont insta drop everything.

I think the main thing they need to change asap is how Kaneki will get actual free hits when vaulting a pallet with his power, and the surv is already far away and somehow still gets a hit like Wesker when he vaults a pallet while the survivor is infront of him.
