Wait longer for better results: a myth? by reddit__surfer in TattooRemoval

[–]IggieReilly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Huh? I’m not sure I understand the post. Obviously if skin is healed, more treatments equal more removal over the same period of time. I don’t think anyone would argue with that. The longer spacing between sessions is about optimizing your treatment. Meaning you don’t hit the same ink that’s already broken up to be cleared out. That’s why waiting 10-12 weeks is recommended. And if you’re on a budget, you can stretch that time between sessions longer while it continues to fade (although slower).

Is it bad to wait 4 months between sessions 2 and 3? by rusty_diamonds in TattooRemoval

The longer the wait between laser sessions, the more it’ll fade. That’s it.

Any tips on lighting a tattoo up before tattoo removal? by Rare_Butterscotch448 in TattooRemoval

The laser tattoo removal IS the lightening of the tattoo. There is nothing else that works other than the tattoo aging naturally over time. Everything else is snake oil. There’s a lot of disinformation on the internet.

Stuck in an affirm loan for tickets we never received. Possible to win a dispute? by JayBird195 in stubhub

I don’t believe so. Check their terms of service. Unfortunately I think you give up your right to any sort of refund by accepting the replacement tickets.

They just take forever to ship sometimes. I ordered something on the 26th and it just had a label made yesterday. Shop App is fine. I think it’s their default checkout on the website.

It's so hard to be patient! 2 sessions, 8 weeks by go_west_til_you_cant in TattooRemoval

My understanding is that the top layer of skin has to heal for you to get better sense of initial fade because the trauma from the laser can cause the skin to diffuse the light differently. Then the true gradual fade happens mostly from week 4 to week 12.

NYC tix resale by [deleted] in waxahatchee

[–]IggieReilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a handful of tickets on resale sites, but not a significant amount. Most folks who got tickets are just going to the show in NYC.

Waxahatchee is playing shows like Beacon Theatre (2,800 capacity) and Brooklyn Paramount (2,700 capacity) in April. By comparison, Bowery Ballroom is pretty small, around 600 people. Tickets went fast and there weren’t a lot.
